Another tossup - a day I spent with the only guy I'm sure I was in love with and who was in love with me; the other, a night I spent with a now-dead celebrity. Not because he was a celebrity, but because he was a great human being - I think I'd pay more attention this time around.

This is why there is a very large puddle between my parents and I- so neither situtation comes to pass. And as it would involve breaking several laws of nature, and a few man-made ones, to get my parents to ever do that again, I suppose the likelihood is with the latter than with the former. no contest- Minerva, my computer. With her "eye" (my digital camera), she becomes my easel, my connection out, my playmate and my journal. she has helped pull me out of the worst. she still does.

During our second performance of Steel Magnolias (in which I played the character M'Lynn), there was a line about a Christmas tree where I was talking to my "daughter." I was supposed to point it out, and when I did, no tree. I swear, everyone was laughing for a solid 10 minutes. That was the best moment ever."

After graduation at one of those "sober" grad parties, a friend and I spent hours riding the ferris wheel and belting out horrible 80s songs at the top of our lungs. It was an absolute blast. I miss her alot, one of the best friends I had in school.

Tom Cruise. He's so obviously just playing himself, even in "Eyes Wide Shut" when working with the greatest director in history.

Usually I get through it by looking at old photos of happy times. Or my CD of Mozart's 29th symphony. It's impossible to listen to that without feeling happy.

Appearing on stage for the first time in a school play. I was Hippolito in The Revenger's Tragedy with my best mate playing Vindice. We were the greatest actors the world had ever seen. This event did more than anything else to give me the small grain of self confidence I now possess.

Erm, I haven't done that much really, just been a sponger. But I did work for 3 months for OXFAM as a volunteer.

oh, after reading DC's answer, i think i have a change for #6:

the audition for the Musical Comedy Murders of 1940. it was the first time i said "fvck it" to the world and was just myself. the audition was incredible, and at call backs a group of us were collected to do a large scene with about seven characters. all of the actors just clicked; we played together so well. i felt confident, talented, and willing to explore and exiperiment. everyone in that audition became a friend for the year to follow. it was a wonderful moment. changed my life forever.

oh, and needless to say, i landed the part.
