Rune should be fine. They have closed the North Terminal at Gatwick to departures, but flights are still landing there and South Terminal is functioning as normal. The only ones who've got stuck are people who were about to take off when the place was closed - they're stuck on the taxiway apparently.

They have arrested some Venezualan nutter who arrived from Colombia with a live grenade in his baggage - and it's not even clear if he's a terrorist, or just a fool.

if a plane takes off in Kuala Lumpur and flies to London, we get a time differential of seven hours. But heading west, the time differential is 24-7...carry the one, 13 hours. But there's the dateline, so we are ahead one day, back again by two. As the crow flies east to New York, the time differential is based on whether or not you are wearing high heels, who's driving the cab and if what you had for lunch is giving you gas.
