In case you haven't heard, the movie adaptation of "Children of Dune" will be shown on the Sci-Fi channel sometime in March. It looks good, of course, but my question is this: if Hollywood is going to follow the series, where was the movie for "Dune Messiah"?
Was that, perhaps, a part of the first Dune movie? Or was it shown & I missed it entirely??
(Geez, I'm nosy, huh?)
;)
I also saw the "newest" Dune book tonight; it's about the Butlerian War (the title escapes me @ the moment), & I believe it happens 10,000 years (or so) before "Dune" itself. It looks interesting too, and I hope it doesn't suck like "House Corrino" did (disappointed in that one). I sincerely applaud Brian Hebert's efforts w/"House Atriedes", "House Harkonnen" & "House Corrino", but I wonder if his father had intentions of going in that direction before he died. Still, it does answer some questions I've always had about the "current" Dune storyline.

What do you think?
Curious is,

My Powerbook goes with me just about everywhere and I just got a Ricochet high-speed wireless modem, i have a cabinet with 3 or 4 other computers and 2 more PS2s under the light table (for parts)

so is the phone.....that's why it bombed miserably here
I saw SciFi Channel's Dune and it was SO much better than the lame ass movie fromthe 80s.
I am eagerly awaiting March 16th.
WOOOHOOO!!
I love having my airport. It allows me to sit on the couch with my Ti book and surf. I'm so spoiled.
