Anna Nicole Smith has died, this according to her attorney Ron Rail.

Desperate attempts to save her life were made by paramedics en route to Memorial Regional Hospital. Smith did not survive, despite receiving CPR and emergency intubation to facilitate her breathing.

Smith collapsed at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel and Casino in Hollywood, Florida and died at a local hospital hours later.

Anna had been transported to Memorial Regional Hospital in Hollywood just after 2:00 PM EST and died around 3:45 PM EST.

WFOR-TV in Miami reports that Anna was found unresponsive in her hotel room. Local streets were closed off to rush Smith to the hospital, three miles away. Paramedics were seen pumping her chest as she was taken from the hotel.

Anna had been hospitalized for a week last November with pneumonia. Daughter Dannielynn, subject of an ongoing DNA test battle, was born on September 7. Her son Daniel died of a drug overdose on September 10. People magazine is reporting that Dannielynn is in the Bahamas.

Anna frequented the Hard Rock. Just a month ago, a playful Anna was caught showing off new body art to Hulk Hogan during a boxing match.

The baby is rumored to have been born drug addicted and that is the real reason for her dragging her feet on the paternity testing. What ever the reason (s), this is truly is tragic; one child dead and the baby now motherless and the center of a huge dispute.

Maybe ANS will find the peace in death she most obviously didn't in life.

I also heard that the baby is still in the Bahamas. Who knows - the press is going ape shit on this "Breaking " news story.

You are like the 5th person I have heard ask that question. Which leads me to ask:
Has anyone even seen that kid since the pictures of her when she was a newborn? Is the baby still alive? If the lawyer is really her father, wouldn't it have just been easier to produce results stating that fact? Something is wrong there ( like you needed me to point that out ) :rolleyes:


If the baby disappears, then they faked her death; but she didn't strike me as being the sharpest tool in the shed...and the way she craved publicity, I am not sure she could keep herself hidden. I am leaning towards Wasted Life, Stupid Death.

It's all the girls here can talk about, so there are several theories floating around, including this one:

Her son Daniel died from a combo of methadone & antidepressants, which is what's being reported as ANS's cause of death. Both Howard K Stern & ANS were in the room when Daniel died & it's reported that a maid heard screaming coming from the room, "THIS IS YOUR FAULT!!!"

Do you think maybe since HKS knew ANS had the big lawsuit coming up, and he would get a chunk of the money for representing her, that maybe there is some foul play here?

so that when he gets rid of HER

there will be no heir, except that baby, who he is claiming is his. And all he had to do was **** her a couple of times.

Wonder when's the last time her will was changed? It will be an interesting couple of weeks.

Also I just want to say she was in her heyday during my high school/college years, and it was good to have a role model in the media, among waifs like Kate Moss at the time, who looked like she actually ate. She loved her curves & never apologized for them. She will be missed.

Anyone who had class, would have waited for the paternity suit. If it became known neither of the men contesting paternity were the baby's father, he would have quietly come forward, had the test taken, and faded back into the woodwork. He is claiming he doesn't want the baby. He is claiming a 10 year affair. He is claiming and claiming. So what is it that he does want? ATTENTION. Her death has been good to him. Seriously...anyone ever hear of this geezer before? He isn't even a has-been, he is a never-was. He is married to a 90 year old former actress (Zsa Zsa Gabor); he seems to have no problem demeaning their marriage and further sullying ANS's reputation. Joke is on him; he comes off as a total ass and media whore.
