I just got back to KC from NYC!

Ok. I just returned from my very first visit to NYC. Wouldn't you know, the Blizzard of '03 hit while we were there! I have not seen that much snow, collectively, since I have been alive! Anyway, just wanted to let you know that I had a great time, even though I didn't get to see or do nearly an 1/8th of what we had planned!

We haven't had a chance to get photos in to be developed yet... but as soon as we do........

Anyhoo... here is what we did do...
Jones Beach (picked up shells... it was freakin' cold!)
SoHo (bought some cool lamps for our TV room)
Chinatown (had great food there!)
TimesSquare
Carnegie Deli
Rockefeller Center
St. Patricks Cath.
Macy's
Plus... several other places

Problem was, we were planning to spend all day Sunday, Monday and Tuesday AM in the city, but because of snow, we only had Sunday...

Matt's mom lives in Great Neck, so we just stayed there and visited all the places he use to hang out when he lived there 20 years ago.
