Anyone watching the show? I am still confused about what is really going on, but I am also kind of hooked at the same time.

I've seen it a few times, & it is strangely addicting. What I'm trying hard to get used to is seeing Rebecca Demorney (sp?) & her husband as grandparents. They sure as hell don't look like grandparents; she looks more like her son's girlfriend.

And just what is "John"'s deal? Is he supposed to be an angel of some kind? How else can you explain the kid's recovery? :confused:

Or the birds?

He seems to me to be some kind of guardian angel and it all seems to center on the Dad, the son and the grandson and some kind of lineage between them.

Or maybe he was sent to bring them all together since they seem to be torn apart for some kind of bigger purpose.

Has anything been mentioned about who the grandsons mom is? Also, is Kai related in any way or does she just work at the surf shop?

There is also something about miracles. Like nobody believed the one about the bird coming back to life, but they did say that the grandson's recovery was a miracle. Which makes me think, if a miracle happens and nobody notices, did it really happen then?

I tried to like it, but I just couldn't get in to it. Let me know if it gets better and I will try it again when they rerun it into the ground...like they do everything. lol
