The pants I am wearing now are new. They are the second pair of pants I've bought since I've lost some weight. I haven't worn pants this size for more than six years.

Not a secret, but that is my happy pants story. :)

Hfox, I think it's that the word "pants" is inherently funny. Think about it: "underpants" is much funnier than "underwear". And then there's the fact that in British English, "pants" equals "underpants". So pants jokes and references are an inevitable fact of the universe. They're an emergence (http://bulletin.zefrank.com/showpost.php?p=355040&postcount=79), and one as beautiful as any flock of birds or school of fish.
