I've been trying to think of some kind of project-y thing to suggest. That's one of the things I loved about The Show forum. There's potential for it on the ORG, and btw lukkucairi's Burning Duck and Mik's Space Adventure series are neat examples of collaboration.

I don't know whether that kind of thing will grow here, though. Oh, and I don't want to throw some of my favorite babies out with the bathwater. :o Perhaps that is overly attached of me.

Thoughts?
Ideas?

If that doesn't make people start humming "the way we were" I don't know what will. But I am sure we will soon see.

i don't know. a game is either fun or it isn't. if it was fun a week ago, it stands a chance of still being fun this week. if it wasn't fun a week ago, then it probably won't be fun 7 days later.

no reason to be stagnant just for the sake of stagnation, and certainly not every thread deserves to be revived. but likewise no reason to discard everything previously entertaining in the name of "building."

Of course!! With the exception of Oreos, brightpearl frowns upon the mass-produced cookie.

I remember seeing a link to the 'boards as they were a couple of years ago - it had sub-forums for different projects. would anyone know how to find this?

I think projects (weekly? monthly?? NEVERENDING??) are an awesome idea and would spice things up a bit. From what I saw, the ORG has a variety of ongoing projects and collaborations, but that doesn't mean we couldn't make something equally great over here.

Cookie?

Yes please. I hope I didn't break rule #8. :o
