Of the two final ones, I liked the Liebeskind one the better. But my preferred one was the Norman Foster, the one with the tower at an angle leaning on its adjacent tower. Seemed mighty appropriate to me.

yeah - kind of Disney-esque... Not wholly unappealing, tho'.
I don't like it, it just doesn't sit right with me. I don't think they should put anything there or if they do they should do the same exact buildings.

I wanted them to make that entire area a memorial park, like Giuliani suggested ....
To make up for the lost commerce-center real estate, I thought they could take a northern section of Central Park and make that the new finance center ... it would rejuvinate Harlem, etc...
That way there'd be two massive parks on Manhattan -- more green space -- and those who perished would be respected with a green area for people to go to, to remember, to think, to enjoy.
Lord knows there's tons of space in Central Park.
hear hear.

i'm one of the "f*ck it, build 'em bigger" mentality. i kinda like the tower, a way to reach the sky without having tenants fear for their lives.
as for the museum and the "wedge", eh. it'll probably grow on us.
