Beware of many flea ridden stray cats that look at you and demand food. Little buggers!

Feta cheese is amazing :D leave the olives out though heehee

I have but it was a very long time ago when I was a wee lass. I went there with my parents, I think I was about 13.

The most memorable thing that happened was losing my cap off my head whilst riding in a topless jeep!

but.. nothing else? no sun? no ocean? no fun?

Oh of course...all of those! I'm sure you'll have a great time! :)

I'm not sure whether it was there or not when I nearly swam into a jellyfish! YoW!

eeeewww! i hate jellyfish! the worst part of it is that there's only jellyfish swimming in the north sea near our dutch beaches when the wind blows from the warmer east. so, if it's hot in the NL's, there are always jellyfish in the sea.

but i'll be careful! :)

Did you see the episode of friends when Monica was stung by one and Joey and Chandler had to wee on her! haha

Steady Tiger!

I think Chuckie is getting carried away. She's been here all day and I bet she hasn't got any work done.

(nor, for that matter, have I).

They're all VERY religious and church bells ring constantly - waking you up on Sunday morning!

It's really beautiful and kind of an escape from the other islands around there. I stayed in a place called the Hotel Theopolis in a 6th floor penthouse apartment above a youth hostel. The owner's wife ran a restaurant on the top floor and you could eat with an amazing view of the city.

My favorite time was renting a motorcycle and going all over to hidden and deserted beaches and exploring. Once outside the city, the landscape is vast empty rocky beauty.

Besides earplugs for the Maddonna, I recommend not letting the cab drivers rip you off - they will all charge as much as they think you're worth paying.

Have fun.
