if you take a shot glass and fill it about three quarters fill of stawberry schnapps and then fill the rest of the way with bailey's then just a touch of genadine on top you have a drink called 'brains' (the baileys curdles in the schnapps and it does look like a brain) i used to gross out my favorite bartender with that one.

Caribbean Sunset
4 oz Pineapple Juice
1 oz Grapefruit Juice
1 oz Orange Juice
1/2 oz Malibu Rum (any coconut rum will do..)
1/4 oz melon liquor
1/4 oz Banana liquor

Shaken over ice. Pour into a collins glass. Drop a bit of grenadine syrup in.. Let it settle to the bottom...

(I knew those years of working bars would one day pay off..!!)

Fill Glass with ice
1 oz Malibu
1 oz Melon Liquer
Fill with equal parts sour mix and orange juice

shake

top with sprite or 7-up

Use lime jello & Malibu. Tastes like kiwi!

1 1/2 oz. Baileys
1 1/2 oz. Kahlua
1 scoop Vanilla Ice Cream
Mix in a blender a slow speed until smooth. Pour into a goblet.

Moose River Hummer

3/4 oz. Yukon Jack
3/4 oz. Blackberry Brandy
1/2 oz. Galliano
1/2 oz. Gran Marnier
Shake with ice in cocktail shaker, strain into rocks glass. Served as a shot.

Hot Apple Pie

- Kahlua
- Irish Cream
- Goldschlager
- Cinnamon
Fill shot glass 3/4 with Kahlua. Then add a thin layer of Irish Cream. Top with very thin layer of Goldschlager Lite on fire and sprinkle with cinnamon.

Natural Disaster:

Keep one bottle each of Aftershock and Avalanche in the freezer. Once frosty, Pour one ounce of Aftershock into a 2 Oz. glass. Then slowly pour one ounce of Avalanche. If done right, the Avalanche will ball up in the middle looking like a very bloodshot eye.

For added fun:
Once both bottles have been emptied, use a skewer to break up the crystals in the bottom for a tasty treat.

Double Apricot Margaritas

1 1/4 C apricots, halved and pitted
OR
1 (16 oz) can unpeeled apricot halves, drained
1/2 C tequila
1/4 C granulated sugar
1/4 C limejuice
1/4 C apricot nectar
3 C ice cubes
Extra limejuice
Coarse salt

In a blender, combine apricot halves, tequila, sugar, 1/4 cup of
limejuice, and apricot nectar. Blend until smooth. Add ice cubes a
few at a time till the mixture becomes thick and slushy.

Rub the rims of the glasses with the limejuice. Then dip the edge of the glass into a shallow bowl with the salt in it. Pour the margarita
mix into the glasses.

My favorite drink is a Long Island Iced Tea. If anyone has a good receipe, please pass it on.

A good hang over cure is called a red eye:

Take a beer, and use about a 2/3rds cup tomato juice, and add the beer to taste. Have as many of these as you need to feel better. You can also use V-8 or clamato. When I heard about this drink, it sounded gross but it really works.

1 1/2 oz. Kahlúa
1 1/2 oz. vodka
1 1/2 oz. Sprite, or 7-up
Fill a rocks glass with ice. Add the Kahlúa first, then slowly pour in the vodka, and then the top it off with Sprite. (The key is to try to keep it layered.) Use two straws to suck it all down at once.

Repeat

The Classic Long Island Ice Tea

- In a tall glass with nice chunky ice,

- 1/2 oz. white tequila
- 1/2 oz. white rum
- 1/2 oz. vodka
- 1/2 oz. gin
- 1/2 oz. Triple Sec.

- splash of lime juice,

- Fill with coke.

- Add a lime garnish and perhaps a little umbrella.

Enjoy on a patio, or reclined on a deck chair at the beach.

Do not plan on going anywhere for a while after.

Patron, or Cabo Wabo, (about $40/ea) or Jose Cuervo Family Reserve (about $90) are all good sipping tequilas. So smooth to shoot you don't even need lime or salt, and excellent smooth mixers.

Funny, I find that when shooting tequila, half the fun is the face you have to make after it goes down.

That being said, the face you make when it's comming back up is another story all together.
