On another note...look, I got Ze to say "holy monkey" the revolution continues......

holy monkeys did a lot of you not get the update.... I think it has to do with many people not being validated...ie. you didn't click on the validation email or there was an error while you were doing so. I will have to look into that.

awwww zyle! are you sure you can't use or watch a webcam? you can use the yahoo messenger, right? did you check all the connection settings?

It's impossible. The guy doing a PhD in computer science here can't get through it. Not legally anway, and I can't risk having it taken from me :(
It blocks any peer to peer client between me and the other side of the firewall. On this side it works fine - I can connect to anybody in the university directly. It really sucks. If we do the settings as they tell us to in the manual we got you can't even get on any other site than University hosted ones.

Having said that I'm at home for Easter in 2 weeks ;)

the whole yahoo messenger thing is a p2p thing as well.. i'm just not sure if the cam uses the same port as the messenger. if you try to watch a cam, do you get an error message or something?

you can use the messenger itself, right?
