HAHAHAHA! Have children. Never sleep in again! Fortunately, however, like anything else, the urge eventually goes away when repeatedly denied.

I work a ton for what I get paid...which is in horsecrap.
Horsecrap doesn't afford bills, or moving out, or a *newer* car.
Horsecrap is possibly only good for laughs.
My effort is worth more than a chuckle.

I get up at 0530 every weekday, struggle around til my anti inflammatories kick in, and spend the better part of the day trying to convince someone or other not to starve herself to death.
They pay me quite a bit, considering sometimes it doesn't work out for the people starving.
It's really not work, other than the part about having to be neatly dressed and groomed and out of the house. Even so, it can be draining, largely from the point of view of discouragement.
Pretty much, though, I go around thinking that I don't work hard enough. Considering.

I need to learn how to work harder. Of course, this week has been spent driving all over Los Angeles so people at work must think I'm very busy since I'm always out of the office.

I work too hard but I really don;t have a problem with it. Maybe because, in the back of my mind, I know I wouldn't feel bad about quitting and working at the video store down the street. So it kind of makes it on my own terms......instead of someone cracking a whip.

i still work too much, i had 4 days last week of 10+ hours, it would be different if someone was paying me over time. this is just me being compulsive and not being able to leave something on my desk overnight to deal with tomorrow. must finish today, must finish. i want a nap
don't have any kids to deprive me of sleep, don't want any, too noisy, messy and expensive

i couldn't care less if the shite piles up on my desk-- i'll never get through it all anyway...
if i'm only a month behind on everything i consider that a victory (not that my boss does, but the hell with him)
