April Fools

I should not go to work saying I'm sick. At the end of the day I'll call in and say, "APRIL FOOLS!!!"
Does anybody here ever do anything for April Fools?

my whole day revolves around pranks and such
of course, that isnt much different than other days
but today i get to yell "april fool" afterward

I used to, when I was little -
I'd put something silly in a box & wrap it like a present - thinking I was being sooooooo clever -
Give it to my mom - and of course she'd pretend to be sooooooo surprised :D

Nowadays - everybody's so stressed - it seems sadistic to do anything - :) Anyway - I'm so terrible at stuff like that - I leave it to the experts! :)

Last year my friend Chris removed the balls from everyone's mouse so when they got in the mouse didn't work.

This year we were going to get him back but no one remembered that til about an hour ago.

Acually I've never been good at April fools due to my explicit honesty...I just can't keep a straight face ,in fact I didn't think about it at all today until I saw this post! BUT last year I got a phone call from my best friend, Jason, at 2.20am (just 20 minutes after people get kicked out of bars here, and He DID go to bars!) and yes the answering machine picked up but he yelled and screamed and pleaded for help LOUD enough so that I woke up and heard him 2 rooms away. Needless to say I didn't answer. I padded over to the machine in half sleep/shock (what if it's an emergency...) and heard:
" Trish! TRISH! I'm in JAIL, OAKLAND jail (a really really bad jail I guess), HELP! Call the Oakland jail and ask for ME. This is my ONE phone call so HELP!"
ok, SO I'm not a smart person when I'm half asleep and I don't have a car (I do have a cool motorcyle due to parking in SF) NOR do I have any money to bail a friend out of jail ..so I woke up my husband who IS smart right away and says "check the caller ID' (duh)....Jasons cell phone number, hmm and then we figure the date out and realize we were FOOLED (OK< I was). That is the BEST fooling I've ever had...I was soooo pissed off! but I Laughed the next day(and So did Jason when I gave hin Sh-t!) and still think it's a good story.

My girlfriend just told her husband she was pregnant (they had a darling girlchild ONLY 4.25 mo's ago!) (MUCHO TRABAJO!) SO , naturally he freaked out!
