Everyday after I wake up, i remain in the bed for ten minutes or so listening to the sounds around me. Normally it's good music...sometimes it's just my brother shouting...But i love pretending to sleep while listening to everyone talk....

Whats your daily routine...those who go straight to the loo can abstain ;)

My morning routine is usually like this:

Alarm goes off.
hit snooze, wait 7 minutes
Alarm goes off again
hit snooze, wait 7 minutes

repeat for half an hour to an hour.

Drag myself to class.

as sad as it may seem, that's the most exciting part of my day.
the rest is pretty mundane. :(

oh well. Maybe other people's routines are more exciting.

I am a morning person. You know one of those disgustingly chipper folks that don't need coffee to be that way. I almost always wake up before the alarm goes off. I roll over to see how much time I have left and stretch in bed. I can hear D's light snoring and birds chirping. If the cats hear me, they come into the bedroom and start tearing up magazines, paper, etc. on the floor. (Man they piss me off when they do that.) The alarm goes off and I get up, turn it off, kick the cats out and crawl back into bed for another 5 minutes or so.

alarm goes off at 5:45
drag sorry ass out of bed
few "things" in bathroom
downstairs to feed cats
clean litter boxes
shower, dress
pill ailing cats
wash cat bowls, etc.
open cat door
uncover bird cage and kiss birds
drive to work

Waking up is easier if you don't go to sleep.

Yeah, but us old folks must have sleep or we crumble.

Sounds like geek talk... hmmmm.

Talking like that usually makes people a priority in my queue for a thumpin' (or maybe just a stern talking to :o).

I'll let it go this time.;)

my morning routine:
wake up to irrtating radio deejays at 6 am
pound alarm clocke repeatedly until off button is found
roll over and end up falling out of bed
mother comes in to screech and turn on light
wince in pain at alarm clock hitting head and brightness of light
swear under breath
get dressed and be at kitchen table to eat at 6.30
sprint out of door exactly at 7 because my senile bus driver looooves her gas pedal waay too much

repeat for the next five consecutive days until weekend

what language are you coding dan ?
maybe I can help (i doubt it, but maybe) ?

Its in Java. So far it's been a three day project.

It's not that I'm having problems with it, it's just that it's a massive project (for me). I have written 11 classes, excluding exception classes and interfaces. Including them I have 29 classes (but interfaces take about 30 second to write and exceptions are automatically generated).

arggg!!!

My eventual goal is an AVLTree, for which I've had to write 3 other types of tree to support it and a bunch of stuff to support those other trees (if that makes sense to you, I'm sorry).

I'm actually mostly done, I just have to write the final class for the AVL tree and then test it.

thanks for the offer though.

The alarm goes on about 6:20am.
I have a jazz station programmed in.
This usually lulls me back to sleep.
When it stops playing music an hour later, I wake up with a start.
I run into the bathroom & start the shower.
When I get out, I throw on some clothes & hightail it out the door.
When I get to work, I nuke a meatless sausage patty & make some toast or waffles & green tea w/mint.

This has been the routine for almost a year. It has to change. I can now work 7am-3:30pm if I'd like. That would be cool, so we'll have to see. There is only one problem with this. My ideal schedule would be more 7pm-3:30am. Rats.
