i was laying on the couch finishing 'therese raquin' when i realized that pages had been torn out of the back AND I NOW CANNOT FINISH MY BOOK UNTIL I PURCHASE A NEW ONE AND I AM THOROUGHLY ANNOYED.

never again will i shop at half price books without serious inspection.
