Calling all Euro ZeMonkeys, and our worldwide friends too, if they feel so inclined....

How about getting together at the first anniversary of the board's creation? That is September 18th, which this year is a Thursday. Perhaps the following weekend, September 20/21, would be close enough?

Venue: Frieda has kindly offered to put everyone up on her floor (*). She says her mum doesn't mind. So Amsterdam would seem to be a good place to meet up and have a party. And I've never been there, so I'd like to see the place. And most of the cut-price airlines fly there.

i have no idea.. i think it'll be a bit expensive, there's room for about 40 people in a canal boat and i don't think 40 people will show up.. we could do a canal boat dinner with other people though.

I am usually very happy to see and participate in the local life/whatever. I wouldn't mind some arty stuff as well but not for too long at the time.
