Well great minds and all that...
I really liked the costumes and sets of the movie.I recently showed it to my no 1 son for the first time .I explained that we were going to watch a movie about the power and triumph of love over evil and adversity.He pulled shapes and made all the faces but sat down to watch it with me .Of course he loved it ,espeacially Zorg :) he is just 11 years old ..now when do i introduce him to Leon,Wild at Heart and True Romance....what a trio of films ,but then Nicholas Cage is in one .Luc Besson directed another and of course Gary Oldman is amazing as Drexel .I fear he is WAY too young and will be for quite a while .

ever watched taxi (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0152930/)? it's in french, and very funny if you enjoy french humor. there is a lot of stunts in the movie, high speed car chases, but none of that filmed the "american way" with slow motion and explosions, it's just plain stunting. besides, it's very interesting to see the difference between the "american" films he makes and the french. both taxi 1 and 2 are enjoyable, 3 is a bit over the top, i didn't enjoy it as much as part 1 or 2. another really strange film by luc besson is wasabi (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0281364/). you either love it or you hate it! :)

I am a fan of the Euro movie/World movie ."City of God" is the latest i have seen from Brazil and it rocks on every level if you havent seen it you should ...trust me .Plus another movie i liked by Besson was "Joan of Arc" it was just so dirty and muddy as you feel it was .no Hollywood glitzy shit everywhere. However there is also another movie i quite like for its Euro feel and that is "The Bourne Identity" filmed on location in Germany,Switzerland,Belgium,France etc very very cool .I was reminded of the same atmosphere that was created in "The French Connection II" . It may be presumptious of me but i feel you would like it , hey you may seen it already and hated it ......

Just watched this movie again after ages and ages ...Nicholas Cage(in a proper film..not that shit "The Rock") in"Wild at Heart".
WHAT A MOVIE!:eek: His portrayal of "Sailor"is in my opinion the best he has ever acted .It for me is one of the best road movies of all time .I think Sailor is the MAN
I like the quirky movie .The one with memorable characters in ...another great movie is "O Brother Where Art Thou?" George Clooney etc acting his socks off .:)
