I leave the bathroom door open, and this is the first time she's found another niche, in my bedroom, next to the tv. She can go behind it at any time, while she's still insecure. The dogs are giving her plenty of space at the moment. Butthead goes in and licks her then leaves, but Mona wants to play, and that's just a bit too familiar for the cat at this point.

I have guard-squirrels!!!!
We feed the squirrels here at the house; they are tame enough to take the nuts right from your hand. If there isn't anyone feeding them..they peer through the front door and drive the cats crazy. The out door cat ignores them totally; they sit infront of the door side by side infact.

Just now, some moron tried to come up on the porch to sell me something..but the squirrels wouldn't let him!! hahahaha. They chased him all the way down the drive way. (they actually just wanted him to feed them, but it worked out well anyway)
They just got an extra helping of peanuts!!:D

So I saw the Capital Steps concert last night. Most of the crowd appeared to be well-heeled old codgers. I was expecting more college students.

The theater was a tad tight; I had forgotten the way they squeeze you in like a bunch of sweaty sardines.

The show was excellent; they’re very talented. That pianist was good enough to hold a concert on his own. Damn they were funny.

We here at Scheitztreun Acres all deserve a pat on the back, the horseshoer came to trim the burro's feet that had grown into elf slippers, and after much bucking and kicking, we decided that it would be best to lay the burro down...I had his neck, Nico had his front feet and John (Carrie my sister's bf) had his head.....Carrie Got scratched down the leg to her shoe tryin to get him down, Nico now has a hematoma on his right hand (lucky it didn't break) I got kicked in the second knuckle of the left hand and wrenched my bad shoulder good while trying to get away from it when it was all done. We saved the ass of the horseshoer, whos reflexes were faster than ours. Anybody got any Ice?

I am diversifying...on to making "guatemalan style" bags now.

Advise please...should I try selling these things...and if so...for how much?

They measure 7" X 8 1/2".
I'm using upholstery remnants, really heavy duty quality fabric for the outer shell. Liner material is either recycled suit liner material or 100% cotton print fabrics...and old buttons from my Grandma's 60 year old collection/button tin...and I double stitch all impotant seams. They take about 1 1/2 - 2 hrs each to make (although if I production lined the process, I bet I could bring that down).

Since these are fun to make...I think I'll make a dozen or so of the hats and bags and try to sell them at a local craft faire.

I'll decide on pricing after I really figure out the actual time to make them using a production line method, instead of the "i'll make another bag" method.

Sooo...last question/s. Should I make every bag unique? Or should I make a couple/few of several designs? Multiples are obviously easier to production line...esp. for the straps (which are kind of a pain to make...) perhaps I should just make a few different styles/colors of straps and make the bags themselves unique???

That's a tough one. My impulse would be to say to make some duplicates, because sometimes people like to buy things in pairs... say, friends, or gifts for sisters. But the "no two alike" thing is appealing, too. I'm not being very helpful. :p
