One of my friends rec'd five voicemails from a guy who obviously thought he was re-recording his one message rather than recording a series of messages. She got the same message done five different ways: sporty, manly, lively, sexy, playful .... aieee it was awful. And she told everybody.

The weird cat noises does sound scarey. Did you talk to him again? Ask him what he was trying to accomplish?

The cat message was one of four ... we'd arranged to meet up for coffee (at a location to be determined), but I got called into work so I couldn't make it. I left him a phone message letting him know.

msg#1: unrealistic cat noises

msg#2: where are you, aren't we going for coffee?

msg#3: (getting perturbed) where are you? I looked up your address in the phone book and came over but you're not there!

msg#4: (very perturbed) WHERE ARE YOU? YOU'RE NOT AT YOUR APARTMENT AND I TRIED TO GET SOMEONE TO LET ME IN BUT NO ONE WAS THERE! WHERE ARE YOU!

I called him back to let him know not to call me again or try to see me, and that him coming over to my apartment was way over the line. He totally didn't get it. Not even a bit. I yelled at him on the phone and I guess he at least figured out that we weren't going to date, so I didn't have any problems with him after that. Ugh.
