we had a guy admitted to the hospital after he drank some 'unidentified liquid' he found at a junkyard in a beer bottle...the sample of it burnd thru the plastic container used to collect it.

I know of some-one whose workmates put caustic soda in his coffee for a practical joke. Now has no oesaphagus or trachea and a feeding tube for the rest of his life.
