I arrived a few hours ago. Complementary internet rocks! So far my impressions of Chicago are all good. We'll see how things go when work starts up tomorrow.

Just remember:

Do NOT, under any circumstances, ask for ketchup on your hot dogs.

Chicagoans are SO snippy about that!

Ain't that right, P?

And for God's sake, do not go to the south side of Chicago, unless you want to be killed! Been there, done that, and I lived. I was lucky.

That Ketchup thing is real. I don't know if Wrigley Field changed, but when I was there, it wasnt offered...

I haven't really done anything about the laptop battery yet but it seems like I will be able to have the laptop on wall power most of the time. The downtown area of Chicago is so clean! It's amazing. I walked over and checked out lake Michigan. The hotel is only a few blocks away from the lake.

I don't eat meat so the hotdog thing won't be a problem but thanks for the warning. I will be on the lookout for people that do ask for ketchup just to watch the reaction hehe.
