What do you mean NYC?? James Bond IS real!!! What planet are you from anyway?!?!?! I agree with you though, but it's the same everywhere, I mean, anytime a new movie comes out, McDonalds makes a lot of money selling those damn happy meals, and we all know that Carrot Top isn't real, but he still gets to do commercials, I personally think he should be shot. In fact, not much that comes out of Hollywood is real, the fact is, it sells. I used to work in promotions, and the soap stars would make public appearences all over the place, you would be surprised at the number of people that came up to them and chastised them for actually sleeping with their brother or dumping thier soap husband because he was such a good guy. As for James Bond, how many Z3's do you think sold because of that guy?

well, i can recall Austin Powers and the queen of fake, miss Britnety 'makes me puke to typer her name' Spears in her hot pants and fake tits dancing around for the product as well.

what do you expect when you sell fake Coke? (i imagine i'm going to get a slew of caffiene-addicted attacks for that one)

as for me, i have yet to see a single James Bond movie.

hehehe... *glances at her avatar* anyways...

it seems nobody likes reality anymore. fake sells. so we sell fake. that's how it works. if i, for one, was a guy, and saw peirce brosnan selling razors, knowing he was in a movie with halle berry (sp??) ... i think i'd try it. just for the "bond" effect, ya know? ^_~ who knows... it may work. ^__^

Actually, nyc, I think it's BETTER that a fictional character doing the advert- at least that way, I KNOW that the person portraying the character is doing it for money. If it's a real person promoting a product, you can never be sure- is it for the money offer or do they REALLY think this is a worthy product?

Not that I give a poo what kind of razor holle berry, pierce brosnan or james bond uses...

I think I'd better stay out of the shaving debate... caused enough trouble there.
