Funny you should say that, HP was filmed in the Hall of my undergraduate college, Christ Church, here in Oxford (it's the Hogwarts Hall, suitably digitally enhanced, even though it's already enormous). We now charge tourists £4.50 to go and see it. It's taken over from Alice in Wonderland as the main tourist draw (Lewis Carroll was a mathematics don at Ch Ch).

No worries, the minute there is an open window of opportunity the little bugger will bail on you at the speed of light to run back home. While away on vacation, he ran off twice while my friends where watching him. He used to run off on us all the time at first but hasn't lately. The only way to get him is to let him go, get your keys, hop in the car and go look for him. Once he notices you in a car with the door open calling him, he'll jump in. (that is the scary part)

At least I know that I can get the ladies to respond with the word "cute" in regards to my mug shot if I through in the dog. :D

snap! bits of the first one and lots of the second one were filmed at University College (a.k.a. Castle) and the Cathedral here in Durham. They even mentioned it at my matriculation... I tried to fancy dress as a robot once. My skin got penetrated by all those spiky bits on the circuit boards. Not a pretty sight, I can tell you. I still cry just thinking about it. As for RAM, it's a good choice because the chips are usually quite soft on the skin.

Zenbabe, I actually I'm Scottish on my mom's side and German/Dutch on my father's side. My husband is of Irish background. We have fun teasing each other about who can hold their liquor better. Usually the Irish end up carrying the Scottish home.
