NEW YORK--Kirsten said she will come back when there are more creative threads. a brilliant actress with a curious mind, she used zefrank as inspiration for her roles, lovelife, and screenplays, one of which she will be releasing in the fall. capturing webboarders in simultaneously their most primitive and sophisticated human conditions fascinates her, and she plans to rejoin with jake once she sees some serious improvement here. (including, but not limited to, the purging or improving of the extremely corny newcomers of the past summer months.)

i knew it! i knew kristen was bummed out. kristen can be quite temperamental I hear. I’m going to try and be my bright cheery creative self as much as possible in hopes that she and jake will return. I like staplers – do you think Kristen does?

Here's how not to kill them:
Make sure you change their water frequently -
When you change their water, add some of the old water in with it -
*DON'T* wash their bowl with soap - that'll kill them for sure! :(
Tap water is better than distilled - but you have to add a little de-chlorinating solution (cheap) and some "slime" (also cheap... fishy stuff is cheap :)) and make sure the water isn't cold or hot - just room temp.
Underfeeding is better than overfeeding - once every other day for bettas - and lots of variety - tubeworms, bloodworms (not anywhere near as gross as they sound!), pellets, flakes. Some fish like mushy peas :D
That's really about it! They're pretty easy to care for.
ok - let's talk about fish as meat. I like fish tacos how about you

i don't think so miss quick on the draw - we haven't even discussed about thinking about it yet so we're hardly in a position to talk about it.

you are so correct........thank you mr. zero. i wish i could start a poll now but i don't think i can. actually that would be another great topic to discus discussing starting it's own thread on why I have never started my own poll on the zefrank message board -- but i'm kind of digging the idea of talking about whether we should bother talking about starting starting a thread that talks about fish as meat and fish tacos.
yays or nays please
PS lala and rob welcome and thanks bunch!!

Ok...so I'm confused...why then were you "inspired to tears" at the thought of the Betta in the 4x4 inch bowl? Was it the bowl that you were sad for?
RMR, while I greatly appreciate you speaking for me (I'm inspired. We should create a "people-who-try-to-speak-for-other-people-but-don't-even-convey-the-correct-thing-for-those-they-are-speaking-for" thread :p :D ), what I actually meant to say was this:
"No, no, no. What I am saying is that this topic might be better suited to the debate hall. You, lala, and I will be on the "Give our Beta some elbow room, dammit!" side, and some other jerk (oops, I mean free-thinker who has the right to think whatever ignorant thought they would like) from the board can be on the "Beta loves living like a match in a matchbox" side."

hi - can i suggest that we have break-out sessions now to focus on thinking about forming a focus group to plan what threads we should be discussing having?
i'll get my coat.

i think we should think about proposing a thread that discusses the win-win, value add, out of the box, potentialities of zero's suggestion.
zero and mon you both are so smart -- thank you so much for your contributions. i am in complete agreement about the focus groups – bottom line - focus groups are fun. almost as fun as a telemarketing campaign but that’s a whole other subject for a whole other time. i’m thinking we should start thinking about talking about talking about these wonderful suggestions and then we should start a thread. i’d like to put that on your radar screens and i’d love for member of team to chart our progress thus far.

sorry. i'd like to take this onboard but i'm stretched with facilitating another self-directed group focusing on thinking about talking about getting synergies from hard-wired discussion threads.

yeah. i'm in complete agreement with zero on this one. but i don't think my dog is in that fight. irregardless, my team doesn't have the bandwidth or resources to mount an effort of this nature per our previous conversation. perhaps we could put together a rough order of magnititude level of effort scope of work for your review to get a better handle on the number of belly buttons we would require in terms of man-hours to tackle this project.

Although you all know that I am a team player who also likes to focus on the bottom line, and I emphatically agree with both Zero and MoN on this particular goals-rich issue, I do feel, however, that, strategically speaking, going forward we should probably take our issues to upper-management so they can touch on them before we even consider having break-out sessions to focus on thinking about forming a focus group to plan what threads we should be discussing having? I can assure you that this process will ensure a win-win and value added outcome for our whole team.
I'll bring the donuts.
hey!
lets have a think about a having a thread where we no longer think of one another as being customers and service-providers, but instead we think of one another as co-located business partners, and that.
i know! it's a no-brainer - isn't it!

I'll run it past a few stakeholders and let you know.
i think that's an excellent idea -- but i'm not sure how we should approach this one -- would you please help me get my arms around it? then i will begin to post about posting as a partner about being a partner
BTW hi zero and hi trish and thanks

So far, our team has made excellent progress in working on determining the determination of the scope of the magnitude of the progress of our brainstorm on the possibilities of the potentials of discussing the process of talking about actualizing a discussion group to lay out the options for making a thread of discussion which our members can follow.
I don’t have those numbers in yet, but after a team has decided on a committee to determine the group to decide the process by which we can begin to deliberate on a discussion of the workload involved in settling the conceptualization of the data organization process, we can then use that information to begin a process of reflection and discussion by which we may be able to understand our understanding of these matters on a deeper empirical level.

Just had a break-out session with my core team about the input and initiatives that Rob brought to the table. Unfortunately, we are in agreement that it is premature to move forward on the proposed big idea. We need to go back to the board and brainstorm other alternatives, investigate the micro situation further and then determine the most salient methodology for the program. Let's meet at 7:00am tomorrow.
I'll bring the bagels.
