My warm dog.... unfortunately I had to leave her behind when I left Italy 3 years ago... I dreamt about her for 2 years. However, I left her with my ex's father (I'm also still good friends with my ex) - he lives in a pine forest, she's in her element, and I still go back to see her at least 3 times a year. Although I'll never forget her face when she knew I was leaving. She used to sleep in my bed every night. Warm dog with a warmer expression, definitely. Dogs are the best.

Mine are retro too - my favourite pair of skates to date are some black ones that lolok like figure skates, that my parents bought from a pawn shop when I was about 15! Long time ago....

I'm grateful for the ways this board kept me from going insane over the years while I was working for a really mean boss and wondering if I'd ever do anything creative ever again.
I'm grateful for what the board taught me about revealing too much about myself to strangers.

I'm grateful for all the ways the clever dear people here have made me laugh.
You guys have kept me constantly amazed.

I'm enormously grateful for the people here who contacted me when everything disappeared.

I'm grateful to ze for providing a relatively safe place to be myself.

Ultimately though, I'm most grateful for the loved ones I've neglected over the years while I typed on this message board, and I'm even grateful that most of what I typed is gone for good - it's taught me a great good lesson about spending time with the people right in front of me who love me and care about me and think I'm wonderful, and the privilege of being able to return that kind of attention back to them. I hope everyone here gets to experience that on a daily basis, and if that's not the case for some reason, I hope with all my heart that you will, soon, and for the rest of your days.
