Al Franken was a writer for Saturday Night Live back in the day. Then he became an infrequent character on the show. Now I guess he is a political something. I saw a book with his name on it and it was political in nature.

Franken has a good political insight and is much more entertaining than, say, Micheal Moore. He is a great writer and a passable comedian. Fox sued him for using Fair and Balanced in the title of one of his books and they lost. The media coverage of the suit did turn his book into a best seller.
