NG: i love a woman who does her homework. but just to stir things up a bit:

this past weekend i went to an AIDS benefit. it's this big, black-tie affair with the news and thousands of people.

anyway, last year i wore a dress. my friends laughed at me; there are still some that don't treat me the same. needless to say they're no longer my friends. this year i wore a tux. go figure.

just thought i'd throw that in there, me being the devil's advocate and all.

nyc, you're right, it shouldn't matter. but it does to a considerable amount of people out there.

Actually, dev- if you are gonna tell, would you warn me not to look? I've personally enjoyed NOT knowing- it has challenged me to examine how I react to people based on their gender. It's been remarkably fun- and surprisingly easy to see you as neither/nor.

I managed to answer them without revealing anything they could grab hold off.
