if she's hiding under the bed, she must have the blues, so what better name than BLUES???
but classic, MoN, classic
and by the way, LSU took out the #1 team in the country last night, in case y'all missed it

I always liked the name Gunner...I have no idea why....I told my bf that I was going to name my son Gunner and it didn't fly to well...but it's still a good name for a critter..

Following Beale's suggestion, why not "Ella"?- as in Ella Fitzgerald. I know she was more more jazzy, but it sounds prettier than "Aretha" (and easier to say when she makes doodie(<---good word) on your bed).

that's what all the ladies tell me too, MoN, so it fits quite nicely....

Aww. Just because she has an exclamation point for a tail..
She's not ugly. She's spunkily spicy.

I think it was "Freud" who said...
Sometimes a pu**y is just a pu**y.

ohhhhh.... just saw the kitty pix.... sweet babies....
I think Beale kitty is beautiful. So there. Kind of reminds me of Tilda Swinton, a bit...
I vote for Hyacinth. But Ella's good too.

One word: tuna. It will override any timidity - I have living proof - my little Arlecchino (who's still a bit skittish) wouldn't come anywhere near me, let alone let me stroke him - but between tuna and slices from a large tri-tip roast, administered over the course of three or so days, I got him to at least let me touch him...
It's taken a few months, but I've finally got him to the point where he won't zip away at the slightest sudden sound... funny little doodle.

if she's under the bed, stay in the room with her, but don't do anything. just lay down on your bed or something, watch some tv, read something, don't scare her. she'll come out! good luck! :)
