Now no one can add an avatar. Apparently, if you take yours down, you can't get it back up again.

can you select "use custum avatar and then upload or set a URL?

We only see one category under "Avatar categories", and that's "Use Standard Avatar" -- 2 avatars. The goose and the ze.

I just did a quick 5 minute research. There is a new function when you upgrade to the VB3 version. Even if you enable user avatars you need to enable user groups first with the new version. Here's a couple links that may help:

Custom avatars are controled on a usergroup basis. Go into your usergroup manager and go into the usergroup you want to have custome avatars. Scroll down until you see the option set called Picture Uploading permisions. Select yes on can have custome avatar and set the size dimensions and your set . Set this option on for as many usergroups as you like.

In places. On top, it's dark neon green, then a dark lime, then seafoam.
