the pig that calls herself my sister has managed to get some sort of virus on the computer. i cant connect to the internet (im using someone elses computer right now) it wont let me open pest patrol, or delete any pests using norton antivirus or pest patrol. wtf? :mad:

Just out of curiousity though have you tried using those utilities after booting up in Safe Mode? or possibly uninstalling and re-installing the utilities and then trying them? Sometimes that works if the viruses were made to attack the anti-virus software or to attack certain processes that cant be tampered with when booting up normally.

Or, you could just buy a Mac.

We are fairly virus free.

try adaware from lavasoft. Try anti virus if you have it.
If you use windows xp you might get rid of the changes the virus did to your computer using repair or system recovery (rollback to a date sometime before the hell broke lose).
