View Full Version : Introduce Yourself!

I'd feel weird if I posted on a forum without first introducing myself. Some might even think it would be rude of me.

So, here's a little about myself:

My name is Stan. I'm old, but not that old. I'm a writer. I enjoy most outdoor sports, indoor reading, philosophy, art, culture, psychology, all music (except rap) and I enjoy talking... a lot! A close friend introduced me to zefrank.com and from there I found this message board. Btw, I think Ze is hilarious. I don't know how he comes up with everything. Thanks for the laughs Ze! I try not to visit the site on a full stomach because I'd get cramps from laughing too hard.

I don't want to bore you too much about myself, but I'd love to hear something about you. Would everyone please take time to introduce themselves to me. I'm extremely interested in getting to know everyone better. Thanks.

Stan

Welcome Stan! You've chosen an interesting time to join in - sit back and warm yourself by the flames.... :)

I'm Jo, not a lumberjack, not the mother of four sons, and not a baggage handler for Delta.

Hi tiki!

Welcome to the board!

Ignore the overweight underachiever. She's a little upset cuz she just found out her husband's been boinking her best friend. She's been inconsolable.

She looks happy here, though. Thinking happy thoughts about axes. :D

Welcome Tiki.
I am Aphrodite.
It was nice of you to introduce yourself and allow us to offer what personal information we felt comfortable with.
Feel free to jump in the melee. I hope you aren't wearing your good clothes because you have probably noticed, even well behaved monkeys fling poop.

Hi Stan! I mostly lurk, because my mother told me when I was very small that if I kept quiet nobody would know I'm an idiot, but if I didn't I'd remove all doubt. I say very little with the fewest possible number of words as a result of her admonition.

My avatar was made by malina. It's called cappuchino man, but I'm not a man.

There are frauds in the country and city
Both singly and met in committee
They can sometimes pretend
To be serious, friend,
But they cannot pretend to be witty.

A friend said this might not be true --
That he knew of somebody who
Pretends to be funny
And makes lots of money
By shouting fake jokes at a shrew.

So I turned on the kitchen TV --
It was worse than I thought it would be:
Those joke-toids from Regis
Were truly egregious
And my family thought it was me!

Thanks, Craig Johnston, Aphrodite, Frieda, Xfox, Marcus Bales, Avalon, Melissa and Zenbabe!

Why do I get that strange feeling that I'm going to be flamed in the near future for something I'll say? I should watch my toes... ;)
