...and you got one other thing, let's not forget.....
.........rid of the crack whore assistant......

I hope she had a good Xmas, no thanks to you.

believe it or not, i'm hope she did too. i sincerely did not want to ruin her Christmas. the problem was, if i delayed her termination until after the holidays, aka 'now', i would have spent the last few weeks covering her ass, doing her job, fixing her mistakes, and so on and so on. and my coworkers and sales people would have had to wait on the things i normally do when i'm able to executute my daily tasks.

that's several shitty Christmases versus one shitty Christmas.

i figure put the pain where the pain is due....

meanwhile, although she was severely annoying, she was very nice and i hope she was able to have a good holiday.

My family did smallish presents this year - we're all pretty broke - but I did get a couple things that made me very happy... my two favorites were both DVDs - "Meeting People Is Easy", a sort of musical documentary made of Radiohead during the period they were touring for "OK Computer" - and "Groundhog Day" - one of my fave movies of all time.
No crap prezzies. All good.

Best presents: a net meeting with my nephew. I was able to meet Jerry the Giraffe and Roxy, his furry sister kitty, count fingers, tell jokes, and tell him I love him. Technology is amazing.

A newspaper article on my former high school philosophy teacher. He is one of my mentors. It lets me know he is alive and well, able to receive a letter.

After those two, nothing could be crap.
