made some tweaks based on your suggestions

still a very early prototype
I think I trust you, but only my mic was plugged in, no camera... I'd have to comb my hair...
Directions? Nothing happened? Must you have a webcam?

I know I have one of those cheesy mic's around here somewhere... :(
I want a new computer!
If only there was a cell phone feature!

just added levels to the play...
sped it up a bit...added more bounce off the ceilings...
those of you with microphones that can make it work - please test this for me and give me ideas/feedback...
Could you give examples of cybersounds that work. Whoosing, shusssh, pfffing sustained sound works, but single words, like bang, don't. Maybe it's a guy thing.

are you not able to get it to fire?
It'll shoot but the up-down feature is hard to control. Probably just me.

what is it doing? can you describe your playing experience in brief?
It starts slowly enough for the beginner, but the play must be learned experience of careful modulation.
I can't generate a .wav file unfortunately, so you can't "hear" what I'm doing, can you? Playing s'more later.

I don't know how realistic this would be, but I keep wanting to get it to react to the pitch of my voice... to go down when I go low or go up when I go high...
I can't play it when I'm doing laundry. but my tea kettle has a great score.

did you try saying "bang" really loud?
how far can you guys get in terms of levels?

i know it ain't easy, and not everyone has mics but it is a protoype for some neat stuff to come.

ok...i broke down and "allowed access to my mic...but I unplugged my camera first.
my mic is probably set too sensitive...but it seems to work fine except...after firing, the "extra loud" noise of firing causes the ball to go up too much making the next shot difficult. Perhaps could be compensated by firing from bottom up...but the targets come out at random levels
sooo...
any way to make the Bang noise not also affect gun altitude?
it was REALLY cool watching the thing fire like a machine gun when my phone rang.

yup - i can change it so that it doesn't effect the trajectory...
interesting - did you think that by allowing me access to your mic and cam i could in some way see you or hear you? i can't - it's just an internal connection to the plugin.
something i should think about...

mad loud noises not effect the velocity...you may have to refresh though

It has a floaty quality to the circle that bugs me. it goes up/accelerates VERY fast in response to noise but there is no way to make it descend faster than "gravity" will take it.
Uh...what is the point of the "shooting"? You get negative points when you shoot something?!? I guess I'm not clear on the concept of the game. Ok...it's a test for something cool later...for now I'd rather it gave points for shooting something, and perhaps it gives 2 points for actually touching the target...let it subtract points for outright misses/escapees.

okay, so I thought it was because I was doing laundry last night in the other room that I couldn't play, but tonight I've made my surroundings as quiet as I possibly can... and the bubble is hovering at the top.
is there a way to adjust the sensitivity?
(okay, yes... I need a new hard drive.)

shooting the yellow things is bad. shooting the red things is good.
touching the yellow things is good, touching the red things is bad.
i will create another version that approximates height more strictly on volume and you can see if you like it better...
what level have you gotten to?

yeah - i'll add a feature that tests how active your mic is...or at least lets you adjust manually...
when you play with "frog" does his mouth just stay wide open?
