aaah yes the land of beer and cheese and only one of them im willing to partake of. beer is gross. :P eww. Normally the drive takes 6 hours, but my friends and i stretched the drive into 10 hours...love chicago. (bleh)

we were in wisconsin for our friends senoir voice recital. it was awesome. he did such a great job!!! they are gonna cut a cd from his performance. im so proud of him! all his hard work paid off. side note it was a formal affair...everyone was in black and white. of course i was not. i wore turqoise and green! and definately made a statement! (ill attach pix)

all in all it was super fab trip. and right before i had to leave i got to have lunch with PFP!!! *grins* she is such a nice warm person. Im glad that i had the chance to meet her. Maybe neXt time it will be longer than just lunch (soory about making you late) btw shes has the prettiest eyes!

things i learned:
traffic is crappy in chicago. 4 hrs to go 40 miles
always go to the bathroom BEFORE chicago
do not drink water during a traffic jam
there are no rest stops inbetween chicago and wisconsin!
your best friend may not be the best navigator ;)

It was such a good time, we just kept chatting & the next thing I know I am 15 min late getting back! :eek: I could've rearranged my plans to include dinner, but they had to be on their way. I'm sooo glad we had lunch, though, b/c if you'd driven right past me twice I would've been a bit miffed!!! :)

Next time I'll take you where I took Aud & crew--authentic Mexican!

Be glad you left when you did, a BEAR escaped from the zoo late last night & was found in Wauwatosa this am. Part of the freeway was closed off while they waited for the little guy to wake up.

I forgot to ask, did you take pics of the hotel where the church services were held when that guy went psycho? Did you at least get to see it?

i just found out that my best friends room mate was flying his plane over Lake Michigan and ran out of gas 5 miles off shore of Milwalkee. The plane was headed across the lake when Leber radioed that he was low on fuel and it went down a short time later( around midnight). He made a 911 call from a cell phone while sitting on top of the plane in the water. He had no flotation device and was planning to swim for shore. He still hasnt been found.
