auntie: When I first listened to "Chocolate Rain" last night, I started out thinking:

"Hmm, that's a pretty cool piano line - I wonder what comes next?"

Which then steadily progressed towards a:

"Wtf? Is this a parody of something?? Oh my god, this guy is actually serious."

I had a similar experience when I started watching an episode of CSI Miami.

in the opening sequence of "the simpsons movie" we see a moon lander in outer space. the guy sitting a few seats away from me yells, "OH YEAH! HOMER WAS AN ASTRONAUT!" into the relatively quiet theater.

Awright, I was out just now, and I saw a billboard advertising "cosmetic gynecology services".
Despite being in a field tangentially related, I have no idea what such services would entail.

Fallopian augmentation?
Glycolic ovary peel?
Uterine lift?

Here's the important part. If any of you do know, do not, under any circumstances, describe it to me.

you see, pearlie, an inviting guest room is always a nice thing to offer visiting well-wishers.

^Uh huh. Well, when I invite someone in, I might spruce up a bit -- clean sheets and *ahem* a floor you could eat off of -- but I don't remodel the whole shebang!

And if that is what's wrong with my life, it's just going to have to stay that way!

snatch block: nickname given to the operating table in the O.R. of a cosmetic gynecology service.

Dr. Fuller was scrubbing in for a routine procedure when he received a an urgent page from the snatch block. Apparently "it was not a pretty sight."

One Response to: Daily Dose of Zen: Owen Wilson Did Attempt Suicide
John

August 29th, 2007 at 12:22 pm

“The police were telephoned by one of Owen’s brothers WHICH arrived on the scene at 12:08pm on Sunday” Please correct the grammar. It’s just painful.

The above underlined was the only comment made by the quoter "John" on the article of someone's attempted suicide.

Of all the pettiness in the world, I do believe something like this places high upon the list.

I bet John has a top of the line stick stuck up his ass too.

His name is Wooly. He's just short on hair (Russian hairless) and something of a contortionist. In the pic in my previous post, he's curled so that his head is upside down, he's got his back leg over his nose/neck, and that indeterminate pinkish bit is the inside of his ear.
