My plan is to break us into the local fortune cookie factory - I just need you to compose an original fortune. I will then copy it a gajillion times and replace all the other fortunes in the factory with it. Every single person in the known universe will receive your fortune next time they eat chinese takeout.
What fortune do you want them to receive?

almost drowned
got hit by a baseball on my throat
had a nasty stalker with a knife after me
dodged 4 wheelie bins falling from the truck that was driving in front of me at 120km/h
serotonin syndrome
anafylactic shock
and i swear i'm not going to fwk this one up :)
edited to add: i only thought i was going to die twice of all these events-- the wheelie bin incident on the highway and the anafylactic shit. the other times i wasn't really worried. the doctors were, though.

okay, let's see
- in seventh grade, every day when I walked the neighbor's dog, being stalked by Timmy (the 21-year-old neighbor guy who burned down his parents' house and threatened to kill them) because I was "the only one who was ever nice to him." My brother told me he was "crazier than a three-dollar bill", then told my parents and then I lost my dog-walking job. Not sure if that really counts.
-teenage suicide attempt. What a lucky idiot.
-motorcycle accident
-a couple of drug-related incidents
-talked my way out of a kidnapping situation. Again, I was a lucky idiot.
-got a bad feeling about a creep once, turned him down and then saw his composite drawing on the news the next day, wanted for murder.
-cancer survivor - that was kind of a biggie.
I'm pretty sure I'm immortal and cat rules do not apply, but if they did, I'd have at least one more coming.

Myspace, it pays off but not in $, but it getting to know about interesting people, bands, projects & stuff, most recently I learned about a cool gallery currently located just a bit down my very street. I walk past the place twice I day, but I had no clue until this artist requested my friendship, just the same with one of my fav bar/lounges meanwhile.
I think I've registered at Facebook some ages ago, but I forgot the password, then I am also at Lokalisten and StudiVZ (similar to Myspace), but only cos my sisters forced me to, so I can check out their party videos, their newest flirt etc ;) Otherwise I don't use them.

social networking sites-- myspace, facebook, linkedin, flickr, youtube, vimeo, twitter, hoffspace
oh my, yes, I'm a social networking whore.
myspace: local friends - they use the bulletin app for broadcast messages about parties or local happenings.
facebook: weirdly, every damn person I've ever met or taken class with in my entire life, starting with pre-kindergarten. I'm not a seeker - these people find me and friend me and then do nothing else to bug me, generally - but how weird is it that e.g. Tenaya from grade 2, now living in Miami, is part of my world again?
linkedin: I have a presence but I don't use the site. sometimes people link to me, and I keep my profile nice and professional for the googlers.
flickr: easier to upload my pix here to share than any other method. I have a pro account.
youtube: takes an age to upload and the flash conversion algorithm is blocky, but it's the easiest video site to share either here or on a blog.
vimeo: flukey - I get failed uploads more often than youtube, but there's a better conversion algorithm and I can allow others to download the original file.
blip: more stable than vimeo - I upload here as well - what the hell.
twitter: haven't used it in, apparently, 78 days. don't miss it.
hoffspace: I'll join today the better to stalk Frieda :) cuz I don't believe she's not signed up there :)

^Well, it depends on what your usual intake is, but I've heard some nutritionists say that if you cut too many calories at one time, your body may go into "starvation mode" and respond by adjusting two particular hormones in an effort to conserve resources...one will function to make it harder for fat to leave your fat cells, and the other will function to make it easier to store fat in your fat cells. I know some people who don't seem to have had that response, but if you go on a big diet and don't lose weight, try eating more for a bit, and then start exercising a little more and cut 200 calories at a time. When you plateau again, cut 200 more, and add in more exercise...
blah blah blah.

Okay, good advice. That explains a lot.
Breakfast:
coffee
a big pile of celery with a Tbsp of cream cheese and a Tbsp of almond butter
Lunch:
a blended 'green" drink
Smelled:my husband's fried spam sandwich he ate right in front of me.
Then: a slice of processed ham eaten in protest of the green drink
Snack:
a handful of sunflower seeds, and a bowl of cherry tomatoes from the garden
Looked at: a chocolate bar but did not consume.
Looked at: feta cheese but then thought "eh."
Looked at and inhaled at the seams of the box but did not open: Cheezits
Engaged in: separating my egoic desire to eat when not actually physically hungry from Who I Really Am, as well as squelching desire to berate husband for buying Cheezits for the kids and deciding to not take it as "a savage attempt to personally sabotage me" but rather to see it objectively as an unconscious act of Not Thinking Things Through Entirely.
Dinner:
green drink
left over quinoa with chicken, mushyrooms, red onions and curry
salted avocado with rice crackers
However, the evening is not yet over. I am looking forward to drinking a large glass of water instead of eating that bar of milk chocolate my husband left lying around, which has absolutely nothing to do with me and I don't even know why I brought it up.

Unless u mean my car...i interact with my car alot...become part of the machine as it were.
This machine, the one upon which i am now typing, however, is a conduit to the things i interact with...people, info, and games. I don't get into my computer the way i do my car.
