we have a tropical storm pelting us right now

so i have a pigeon problem

a really bad one

and i had a handyman come over today to put slats (sp?) in so they couldn't build nests above my porch

i litterally had pigeon poop that was about an inch thick in some places

so everything was going along fine until he came to the spot that the pigeons had their nest and they refused to vacate.

so the handyman took a broom and they still wouldn't leave

then he tried water.....no luck

then he took a board and swooped them out

that worked

now they keep staring at me from the railing......i know they are pissed and now i feel sad. I didn't want to hurt them and I waited until their babies were grown, but their so damn dirty.

You are not a bad person. I had a similar incident at my old apartment. In Long Beach a group of parrots were set free and are now a thriving (and loud). In the apartments that I use to live in, parrots would tear off the screens covering the vent holes between the floors of the apartments and nest in there. We were a little annoyed by there screaming at each other every morning around 6:30 before going to the sky with their other friends (100+) to scream at each other while flying around. We were also kind of nostalgic about the fact that a pair had a nest with chicks living in our ceiling. (you could hear them walking around and scratching) Anyway, every morning I would go outside around to the side with the opening to say hello to the baby chicks who sat at the edge watching mom and pop perch on the other apartment just next door. One day the Landlord tried to close up the hole but I stopped him reminding him that he needs to get the chicks our first or they would die up there stinking up the place. Might as well wait a few more weeks for them to be able to fly off. The very next day, I found a bug on my arm that made me think I had body lice. I went to the doctor, and she found nothing to say I had anything like that. I couldn't figure it out because I kept finding them on me every other day. Then one day I picked up the remote control off my coffee table and saw them all over it, freaked out and cleaned it off. Started thinking how these little bugs could have only attacked my remote and then realized they were falling from the ceiling fan above. It turned out they were bird mites! ick... They live off bird poop and dander and will bite you too. Birds are nasty. There are the rats of the sky. Kick em to the curb.

Jessie's Song

Jessie joins a singing trio with Kelly, and Lisa but finds that it is difficult to find time for singing and her studies. Jessie starts to take caffeine pills so she can keep up on everything including a particularly difficult Geometry exam. Things start to fall apart for her as she becomes addicted to the pills. Slater finds pills in Jessie's bookbag while looking for a pencil for class. Slater confronts her but it does no good. Zack doesen't believe Jessie has a problem even though Slater tells him. Zack ultimately discovers Jessie's addiction and tries to help but at first she won't listen. Jessie eventually agrees she needs help. During one singing tryout Jessie screams "I'm so excited" as part of her song but the pills have made her so excited that she sounds terrible, and tired. At the shows end, music executives come to the Max to watch the trio sing. Jessie is absent because of her problem, and Screech has to fill in. Screech gets bumped all over the place by Kelly and Lisa, its quite funny.

Recently, I've been having a hard time with the story of "Wizard of Oz". Here's my problem:

The Wicked Witch of the East gets smashed by a house. Dorothy steals her shoes. Now, the Wicked Witch of the West gets all huffy and want the shoes desperately. The Witches' West and East were sisters. When the West tries to grab the shoes, they shock her and she can't touch them.......given that they were sisters, the witches, don't you think she would have tried to borrow her sisters shoes before? You'd think she'd already know about the whole "can't touch them cause they'll shock me" thing.

Also....what the hell is up with all the people in Oz? Most of them seemed cheery, they all knew where the yellow brick road was, they all new that it led to Oz. Along this obviously famous and, presumably, well traveled road, the Tin Man was allowed to rust frozen and it takes some girl from Kansas that was blown to Oz by a tornado to get the guy some help? Where the hell were the munchkins? How could the residents of Oz just leave the guy there?

yeah and you know what bugs me? dorothy goes all over the place asking for help to go home and makes friends with a bunch of useless individuals who do nothing but get her in trouble an don't help her at all and in the end SHE is the one who helps all of THEM and gets home by herself. She is the only character in the story besides ToTo that has any guts at all

yeah, the wheelers were scary, but more annoying then scary. The queen was also scary, when she was running around, yelling, without a head. What was the robots name? tock? i don't remember
