i got out a calculator and multiplyed the age i'm gonna be by 365. i then found my first year that was divisible by four and then counted every leap year there after which is every fourth year. came out to 5. i added six days for that. then i subtracted the days until my birthday and subtracted 4 for that.

and yes, i started at 4:13 pm.

A couple of minutes ago I looked out my window at some kids throwing a ball. A couple of seconds ago I looked out as the ball flew past my window in a gentle arc. Just before it hit the ground it turned toward the sky again and flew over the house across the street. It was a magical moment until I realized it wasn't a ball.
