Tonight Nico and I went armadillo-chasin. He heard it outside the bedroom window and called me and we snuck out with a flashlight.....it wasn't even runnin away (they're fast) and while it was avoiding the flashlight beam, it was eatin! They dig wicked holes and nobody likes em, but this one was bigger than a football, and Nico chased it over to me, and the thing was concentrating on the flashlight so hard that it walked right between my legs! It was so cute!!! Tiny bunny ears stickin up on the top of his head.... I, of course, reached down and touched it. They jump. All it did was walk a little quicker. We tried to get it into a cage to show the Bink before we let it go, but it outsmarted us, and when Nico tried to grab its tail, the thing had some sort of horsepower, cause it just pulled away and ran into some bushes. We followed it around in the bushes for like 10 minutes and it never freaked. We were laughin the whole time, and surprised we didn't wake up the whole neighborhood.

I just wasted an hour of valuable *cough* work time watching a make over show that will be on tonight with Charlie Gibson and Diane Sawyer. Granted, the woman looked wonderful when they were done. And they were honest in showing how painful it was. But they also showed her husband, who isn't happy at all and didn't mind saying so.
They will be divorced within 6 months of the showing, you can just see it.

They indeed is fun. I was shocked how casual the damn thing was, or just plain dumb. If dad'd had shoes on, we'd of had him too, I had a trap set up just past some bushes that Nico couldnt get thru, unfortunately. Nico kept sayin', "just pick him up, they don't bite!" and then when we were all finished, he said that he actually didnt know if they bit or not, and he laughed his ass off.

Today I am helping my brother with some Philosophy stuff.. the guys name is Nozick. This is the question:
Describe the view that the quality of one’s life is determined by whether one’s desires are satisfied. Clearly distinguish this position from both “hedonism” and “experientialism” by showing how desire-based views are not subject to counter-examples that befall the latter two views. Explain using examples the difference between two kinds of desire-based view: (i) the view that the quality of one’s life depends entirely on one’s actual desires, and (ii) the view that the quality of one’s life depends on the desires one would have, if one were better informed. Give counter-examples to each of these two kinds of desire-based view.
Wow.. I have sooo much to look forward to when I start uni in the fall:)

Anyone ever seen those creepy photographs from the late 1800s of dead people? Posed in their clothes, sitting up, as if they were alive, but they're not. Sometimes taken of whole families who died together (disease, sickness) as mementos of lost loved ones. Children, too. They look so alive, but their eyes are closed.
Learned about them in photography art history class. Weird.

well.. not really.. but..
In government my instructor assigned us our end of the year projects. We either have to do something with the stock market or we could get married!!
My best friend and I decided to get married. We have to plan a wedding with only 15K... we have to actually go to places and budget our money so that we have things like: cake, rings, dress, tux, etc. I'm soo excited. We have to call legitimate places and get proof that we can get a wedding dress for 150 bucks. oooo It is going to be sooo time consuming but tons of fun!! =)

That's a cool quote.
My "giggle word" is "crap" -- and all its variations. Referring to "crappy" this or that just cracks me up.
When my daughter was two, she took one look at the carefully cut up bologna sandwich placed on her plate, rolled her eyes and groaned, "Ohhhhhh, CRAP!" It was very hard for me to teach her why that was not acceptable when I was laughing so hard that I had tears rolling down my cheeks.
BTW, Mags, that's a hell of a great pic of your daughter -- very funny. She takes after you, I bet!

Thank God it fell when I was gone and not while my car was parked there...
