yeah i know the differences. my therapist guy says i can only train the upper abs with my feet on the floor for now. maybe next week or the week after that i can try the lower abs with my feet on a chair.. as long as i don't move my back muscles it's okay!

i searched the house again and again and again and found her hiding under the bed all curled up in a box in another box.. i have no idea how she managed to crawl in there..

she was shivering with her mouth open and all dirty and dusty looking so i raced to the vet with her.. turns out she has a wound on her ass, right above her tail and it got infected. she got antibiotics and a painkiller and hopefully it'll heal but i might have to go back to the vet this weekend if she gets worse..

man, was i glad that i found her when i saw those two big headlights shining in the light of my flashlight, but i was scared to death when i saw her trembling like that..

I have a ceiling fan fan above my desk. Every summer the tiniest of tiny spiders hatch at the same time inside my fan. The 2004 batch hatched tonight.

The slide down on invisible cords from the fan and converge upon my desk, computer, or just swing around in the air. We're talking like 50 or more spiders at a time. They're actually pretty interesting to watch. I'm not a big spider lover but these are sooo tiny I can't bare to hurt them.

My son emailed me a picture of what the tiny spiders will look like when they grow up:

Guns are not just for killing. They're for hurling small projectiles in rapid succession, preferably with accuracy.

I had a friend who ate a .303, after giving me his (US) flak jacket and moving to Seattle. I keep it to remember that I don't always catch when someone's pitching.

An ex-girlfriend suggested at his wake that a donation be made to a gun control organization. This is, someone else pointed out, how ghosts get started.

Magpie

No matter what you have thought about guns... if you ever experience someone putting a gun to the side of your head (and live through it), you will learn a hatred and disgust for guns like you've never known.

Doug was the only other guy in my life to cheat on me. He was also the only other actor I've ever dated. He's also typically only in really bad B movies (although this movie isn't that stellar), so him popping up on my tv screen was quite unexpected.

if you had been drinking decaf you might have noticed that you spelled "Saran" wrong before rushing to hit the post message button.

they let me out of the hospital again :)

got an iv, got attached to the heart monitor and everything, had my blood pressure taken every 15 minutes.

had a heart rate of 56 beats per minute when i came in and a blood pressure of 70/60. they did several tests during which i almost fainted, but apparently i have no significant brain damage because of lack of oxygen or overheating, no internal bleedings or fractures. they did spot last year's broken ribs on the x-ray though :D

i stayed until my heart rate was back and steady at 78-85 bpm and my blood pressure was 90/80 when i left, which is not dangerous anymore, they told me.

i set several high scores with mario kart on the gameboy and fell asleep every now and then whenever i wasn't eating salty cookies or going to the toilet because i had to pee the all the time.. ha!

anyway, they let me out because i really really want to go to that festival tomorrow.. they said i have to be very careful and stay out of the sun, drink a lot of water and take some diarrhea dehydration powders that are used for travelling in the tropics tonight. they said i should make sure that i drink enough to make me go pee every hour! they also said i should wear a medibracelet with my telephone no and blood type and everything on it.. just in case..

have to go back on monday though for another checkup, or sooner if i start feeling bad again! i hope not, of course :)

what a day!

the student doctor made a big deal out of convincing me that i should be careful and i will! there are plenty of well-trained first aid people on the festival, so if i start feeling bad again i'll just go there and explain the situation.

I loved Stuart Little.
I never saw the movie though and i'm kind of afraid to. Worried it will not do justice to my memory of the book.

I removed a huntsman (remember the pic) from a shop the other day. Glass and piece of card trick. Shop owner was going to spray it , flapping around screeching "spider, spider, spider!". She was so grateful. I took it out to the car park and put it next to her car.

The crappy, stupid restaurant where I made my post-graduation/birthday brunch reservations has closed. I called to confirm my reservation of 10 and was informed that the place is no longer open for business. Were they even going to call me and let me know? I didn't ask, I was too flabbergasted to continue having a conversation with the woman on the phone.

Crappy stupidheads. Dumb motherf*!kers.

Looks like Dav's goanna have some yard-cleanin to do before the double whammy....these are the times you have to thank Gawd that all your orchids are Inside, dav, as when we have to do the pre-hurricane yard sweep (where you remove anything that isn't attatched so it doesn't become a projectile) the amount of plant life that has to spend a few days in the dark is horrific. and heavy!! "Roll that 3 foot wide planter with the tree in it in here, Nico!"

Im never puttin the goats in the workshop again ever, tho. Last time, they left smart pills all over, every square inch. There were goatie footprints 7 foot high on the walls, and they were only 2 foot high... This time, if they blow, they blow.

If Bonnie stays on the course they plotted she'll pass over Port St. Joe and miss us.
Charley or Charlie or whatever is another story. Looks like he's gonna pass right over you and then come at us! You're welcome to lock up all the critters and spend the weekend with us!
I shut my dogs Elsie and Fred up in the house once when I had to stay at work overnight as we had a hurricane off the coast. Only bad thing that happened is that Elsie stole Fred's bowl of food. Typical of her, she was a real glutton but a sweetheart.

Softly through the shadow of the evening sun
Stealing past the windows of the blissfully dead
Looking for the victim shivering in bed
Searching out fear in the gathering gloom and
Suddenly! a movement in the corner of the
Room! and there is nothing I can do when i
Realise with freight that the spiderman is having
Me for dinner tonight

Quietly he laughs and shaking his head creeps
Closer now closer to the foot of the bed and
Softer than shadow and quicker than flies his
Arms are all around me and his tongue in my
Eyes be still be calm be quiet now my precious
Boy don’t struggle like that or I will only love
You more for it’s much too late to get away or
Turn on the light the spiderman is having you
For dinner tonight

And I feel like I’m being eaten by a thousand
Million shivering furry holes and I know that in
The morning I will wake up in the shivering cold
And the spiderman is always hungry...

Considering traffic in Texas and Houston in particular, no you should not be driving. Safer for you and the baby.
Think the person that bogarted your food will spring for a limo?

Those fish tacos were eaten looong ago! They were still good!
No the idiot who threw everything out of the work fridge is not springing for a limo, but she will be buying me another $11.00 piece of tupperware.
