^oooh, tricky, but I'm improving.

I like this site www.eyemaze.com
It's not very well organized, but there's a list of games over on the left, most of which are some form of Grow. I particularly enjoy this one Grow Island (http://shingakunet.com/special/10054301/0285/index.html)...if you click in a certain order, all manner of funny business goes on.

chain factor http://www.sketchzilla.com/madlibs/pill.gif (http://chainfactor.com/)

How to Play:
Use your mouse to drop discs into the grid.

The Main Idea:
Whenever the number on a disc matches the size of the row or column that disc is in, it will disappear.

See if you can clear the board, or just try to survive as long as possible before filling the grid.

i am rubbish at it but i like the nice music

that chain factor game is too addictive-- i play too long and then when i stop playing i notice the world has square shapes everywhere. my brain plays tricks on me!

02-03-2008, 08:53 AM
the music is too hypnotic actually.
when I think of all the works of genius, the letters, the housecleaning, the job applications i could be writing.

it makes me think of spring and newspapers

02-03-2008, 12:30 PM
That is some unusual game background music. It sounds like something you'd hear in an adult education elearning module. My big current timewasters are still Rock Band and now head-to-head Puzzle Quest, but you never know when something like this could find a void to fill.

"Bow Street Runner" is set in Londonís Covent Garden in the 1750s and depicts a time when crime and vice in the city had hit such levels that the locals magistrates began to introduce the first instances of physical policing of law and order. Each episode of the game will lead the player to explore different crime scenes, collecting evidence, solving puzzles, interviewing characters and presenting the case to the magistrate for judgement.
This game is based on the Channel 4 five-part series "City of Vice".
Bow Street Runner is designed to be historically accurate and therefore
the gameís content and its setting may not be suitable for
younger players!

Little tinkly dots game -I went all the way to level twelve and completed it the first time - it was entirely by accident. i haven't been able to win since, but i like it anyway.

Escaping from the kitchen is frustrating. what do the dog and the bird have to do with it??? Once i fill the pitcher with water and plug it in, I can't get it over to the bowl with the fish in it. And nothing happens when I drag anything and everything on top of everything else  I'm stupid!

06-06-2008, 06:04 PM
rollover for a spoiler....You have to click on the parrot's tail to get a feather, and then tickle somebody's nose with it. And after you plug in the kettle, you have to turn on the teeny switch on the pitcher so that it gets to steaming. To make things with the parts, click on the little hammer in the top left.

or something to that effect

where is the color "wine" when i need it?

12-15-2008, 02:54 PM
In ten games, Akinator did not guess my character. In most cases, they were not even in his/her database. Where can I get my money refunded?

YsaPur EsChomuw
12-15-2008, 03:04 PM
^ Um... maybe Bernard L. Madoff? :p Great with funds, or so I've heard.

How much did you invest into defeating Akinator?

12-15-2008, 08:20 PM
He guessed "your uncle" (correct), but not "Frosty The Snowman" He wanted to know if he was obsessed with food.

With this next one, think hard about the time you will lose and never get back. Just be careful if you were ever a fan of Galaga. This is extremely addictive. I downloaded the free demo, which feels like a complete game.

09-24-2013, 08:13 PM
That cookie clicker...sigh. Got up to 898,647,988,349.6 cookies produced per second. Be afraid. It's a little too mesmerizing.

09-25-2013, 03:27 PM
I trusted you Brynn, enough to try the game out...not enough to heed your warning. I'll work on my trust issues...damn those cookies.

Btw...where does one get Milk in the game...i have purchased several kitten upgrades in hopes that milk would become available. Is this just a trick to find homes for cats?

09-25-2013, 05:13 PM
You get milk by getting achievements, so you probably already have some...it's below the big cookie on the left if so. It might be chocolate by now. You can get a dunking achievement by re-sizing the screen to squeeze the big cookie into the milk zone. :)

09-26-2013, 04:56 PM
That game brought me closer to being an exploitative Republican business conglomerate than I will ever care to again. All along the way, as the environment, and the yes, the very fabric of existence itself was being destroyed all around me, all I could think was "what's it going to take to make that one-hundred quintillion place marker spin? The achievements were all named "you can stop baking now" and "please for the love of god stop" at this point, but there were more achievements to be had...until finally the grandma hive mind upgrade appeared and I saw a way out. It warned me twice that everything would spiral downhill at that point and did I really want to "upgrade" but I said "no, cookie clicker, let me off off this merry-go-round of greed and acqusition!" So now all the grandmothers have dismantled everything and are wandering around zombie-like all over the page. What simple, breath-taking genius. Thank you, brightpearl. Good game. Did anyone skip the grandma zombie apocalypse and find something else?

09-26-2013, 09:16 PM
http://orteil.dashnet.org/nestednested (http://orteil.dashnet.org/nested) is made by the same guy. Very entertaining.

09-27-2013, 01:31 PM
Does one want to contain the wrath of the elders? I'm not sure if that will slow or speed cookie production. And I'm not saying which outcome I prefer at this time.

ty in advance.

btw...farms..why? just to increase "objects owned" for autoclicker puposes? Or do they increase your milk quantity?

Also, can I shut this down and start it up again where I left off, and will cookie production halt in between quiting/saving and restarting?

ty agin in advance...my laptop is begining to warm up...i think a grandma might have gotten into my machine.

09-28-2013, 11:39 AM
^^My favorite part of nested is finding out what the sharks are thinking. :D

Containing the wrath of the elders switches from the hazardous red cookies back to golden cookies. Be sure to sell a grandma at some point, just for fun.

Farms aren't that great, but having 1, 50, and 100 will help with achievements and therefore milk. And you can close it -- cookie production halts while you're away, and your game is saved where you left off.

Eventually, you can restart from the menu tab to start working on Heavenly Chips. My husband has done that like 3 times already...he somehow finishes games faster than anyone except his brother, hahaha. He also uses the Cookie Monster add-on to watch his stats.
