Whilst walking along I became aware that I was approaching a building. When I had almost reached it I saw that it was a house. I passed the house and continued walking.

I was speaking to someone on the phone and noticed that my voice wasn't clear, so I cleared my throat.

i was thinking about placing a phone call so i lifted the receiver, dialled the appropriate number and listened to the ring tone. no one answered so i replaced the receiver, sat and looked at the phone for a while.

I put a compact disc into the machine and played track 1. I then forwarded it to track 9 and played that and tracks 10, 11 and 12. Later on I may play track 3 and 4 and perhaps 18 depending on how the mood takes me. I will miss out track 2 as I don't like it that much.

Then I realized, somehow, I had posted that thing 3 times. I am not sure how that happened, but I deleted the other two. Now I feel silly. But those two were funny.

Today I had to drop a package off in a mailbox, but when I pulled up it was on the wrong side of the car, and I didn't have a passenger to stick it in for me, so I put my ghetto-stick-shift-piece-of-junk into neutral and set the break, and crawled over the gear shift and the passenger seat, and I honked the horn with my hip, and people were staring at me. Then I had to open the window, and it was really cold, and it took me three to open the window wide enough, and then I just kind of tossed the box into the box's slot.

i went to the kitchen to get a coke. someone had turned on the microwave, which sits on the counter right next to the fridge, to heat their lunch. so, naturally, i waited for the beep of the microwave announcing that the cycle had finished to open the fridge. i think i need help.

I went into a cafe the other day. Upon entering the establishment I went up to the counter and ordered a drink and paid for it. They had tables with chairs arranged around them, so I was able to find a place to sit down to consume my beverage. When I had finished my drink I left.

I just ate a Hallowe'en cookie. It was a ghost. First I ate its tail. Then I ate one of its arms. I had to go do something, so I put the cookie down. Later, I ate its other arm. After awhile, I ate its body, and since I needed to go finish the thing that I was doing before I ate the other arm, I went ahead and ate its head. It was tasty.

My error was merely the transposition of two numbers, and not as a result of mathematical miscalculation. The U.S Gallons at 60F was, of course, derived from dividing the U.S Barrels at 60F by 42, and therefore should have read 367,124.10 and not 637,124.10 as I had originally typed.

Our monitoring system detected a 'warning'-level alert about at one of my client's database's tablespaces. After determining that there was enough disk space to do so, I issued the appropriate 'alter tablespace...' command which caused the database to make operating system calls to address more blocks so that it could expand that datafile into them and thereby increase the amount of free space in the tablespace so that the amount used stayed below the 'critical' threshold and in fact dropped below the 'warning' threshold, thus clearing the alert and sending me an email to that effect.

I am kind of hungry now, but not really? Should have picked up some beer at the store. Maybe I will get some over priced to go beer from the bar, play a game of Keno? I'm sitting at my computer, and my feet are getting cold because I don't have any socks on, and my toes are skinny so they don't seem to hold heat in very well. I don't want to turn the heat up because it costs a lot of money to keep this house warm.

I became aware that my legs were slightly tired. I sat down on the settee, which allowed my legs to rest. When my legs are rested I may stand up.

This evening while I sat on the settee I thought about doing some things. I got up and did some of them. When I had finished doing them I sat down again on the settee for a while. I might do some more later on.

I went to go do something productive...but a beer got in the way...next thing I knew I was playing a senseless computer game. I'm going back to play some more now.

I took a fruit slushie drink from the freezer where I had put it when I couldn't finish it. I waited for it to thaw a little, and then started poking holes in it with a straw. Now I'm kind of eating it 'cos it's not totally thawed.
