We are in a cabin on a mountainside at 10,000 feet, overlooking Taos Ski Valley. Mr. Husband, daughgter and daughter's friend are skiing. I am just enjoying the lovely surroundings.

Today we will go down into town and stop at the Church of San Francisco De Asis at Rancho De Taos. It's ther famous one in all the O'Keeffe paintings. I'd post a piccie, but we're on dialup here and it's miserably slow, so I'd better limit it to text messages.

Aud, I feel for ya. It is quiet up here, but last week at home they tore up our street to repair a water line. Key-RIST, what annoying noises!

Took my meds, didn't help. Resorted to a shot. Not liquor either..although maybe that would have been better;)
The shot worked but left me cranky and with an upset stomach for the rest of the day; kind of like a hangover feeling.

Ahh well. Done whining and am grateful for the meds working. So is everyone around me :o

I must be at work for 9 today. I have two early clients and then a new one as well.

Things are definately picking up.

My weight loss clients have lost an average of 3 lbs a week. They are happy and I am happy. My maintenance clients are maintaining. I have new people.

I am so happy to do what I do. I am getting a bench press and free weights as well as some other work out equipment at the office. This is cool!

We made the cake for absolutely no reason, but he did have ulterior motives. This was the first year I didnt make him a special monster truck or race car cake, as we'd gone to grammas for store-bought (now, does that make any sense to you? not me)

So, when the cake was all done, and he'd played with it all to hell, he was ready for a piece of it, but he made me sing happy birthday, and light a candle. but I didnt have a candle, so i held up my bic and he blew that out. That kid won't let me get away with anything. Cake! Like i need that around! (but im happy he got it)


I got 8 more rocks in yesterday, and Nico did like 40. I suck.

OMG Bink just thanked me for bringing snacks for him on a trip we took a year ago. I don't suck. But he is reaallllllly strange. Don't worry. I just said thank you.

Took a long hot bath this morning, which eased the hamstring. I hae a ton to do but am more interested in sitting around looking out the window and smelling the light rain on the pavement.

The Indians beat the mighty Detroit Tigers two out of three this weekend. Whoop de flippin' do and hang onto yer hats. LOL

Just got through repairing the PC -- all sorts of mysterious things happened to it while I was away. And nobody knows how! Isn't that amazing?

Never clean out the registry and edit the values before your first hot cuppa, and never try explaining what went wrong to people who have never made a mistake in their lives -- they only grow highly indignant.

I could never be a tech support person. I'd be losing clients right and left! But you can call your relations chowderheads, grapeheads and dorks (under your breath, of course), and, if they want you to fix the PC, they just have to grin and bear it. :D
