OOO, I used to love going to the gym but I don't like any I have found here. They have changed my feelings on gyms. . . but I am thinking of taking up a water aerobics class!

So I was thinking of you last night cause i made steak. Just remembered that!

I took a water aerobics class spring term and I loved it!! At the end of the term, I thanked the teacher and she told me that she could tell I enjoyed it b/c I spent all class time giggling b/c I loved it so much. I miss it. I've never been so excited about excersizing before that.

It just feels so good to be in the water and to not feel like you're sweating and you get to work out for a shorter time but get more results b/c of the water resistance.

That would be a major bonus. I workout but at times it's hard because I had both of my knee caps smashed in from one of my clutsy experiences so I think water aerobics would take stress off of that. Plus, each class is like $4, how could I go wrong? Besides getting into a bathing suit. :eek:

Good Morning all!

I have been so busy it isn't even funny.

Wednesday I started working as a medical assistant in the Doctor's office. It will just be on Wednesday afternoons. This gives me a nice base and a way to get in on the ground floor for all of the studies and things going on. It is crazy busy there. The pay isn't great but it is a guaranteed paycheck. I worked for 7 hours straight, on my feet, no break, no food.

Yesterday I started as a lab assistant. I drew blood from 7:30 to 8:30, then started my day with my clients.

Last night I had my French class and scored an 85% on the test I wrote last week and I did my oral presentation.

I'm off until 2pm today when I take a client grocery shopping to teach him healthy food choices.

He didnt hit him hard, he said the kids breath was in his face, and that he had startled him...God, my kid is like speechless in the face of authority, when they asked him why he hit him, he said that he didnt know why.

He apologized profusely to the kid, and the kid went and told, I dont blame either Bink or the kid for tellin, if someone had slapped Bink, id want bink to tell.

But none of that gets written up, just Bink. I think that what the other kid did was aggressive.

I think I may have posted this comment in the Good Night thread last night.
Mostly what we chose yesterday was how steep a decline our country will take over the next four years. Hopefully we won't drag the rest of the world down with us but since so much of the going on's in this world are predicated on actions in this country that remains to be seen.
Jim Hightower said it best: Getting Bush out of the White House would have only been the first step. After that we would have had to stay on Kerry's ass until such time as the President of the United States became responsible to the people of this country as opposed to the powers that pay to get Presidents elected.
Getting the Oval Office back to being beholden to nobody but the citizens of this country is gonna be much harder now but it can be done. Don't complain about Bush without doing something otherwise you're part of the problem. Get out and join an activist organization of some kind. Move On.org., Jim's "Hightower Lowdown", any of the environmental groups, doesn't matter. Doesn't matter what you do for 'em. If all you prefer doing is donating a little money, do it. Make sure our voices are heard loudly and regularly!

This morning I have my clients. Right afterwards, I go and buy a crap car. I test drove it yesterday. It works. Good enough for me.
It is a 1990 Ford Tempo. Three years older than the car I had.
Oh well.
At least I can stop walking everywhere. It is getting too cold.

That's weird! I'll check with our Purchasing dept. and make sure they sent it. I'll get a tracking number if they have one.
Haven't had any of the coffee yet. Don't have a grinder. That'll give me an excuse to get one! :)
I'll let you know when we have some how it is although the aroma alone is worth it!
Lemme know if the bread arrives and in what condition. If it's less than fresh I'll send you another as I'm baking again this Sunday.

A bit miffed.

A client sent a sketch for a proposed design that is gonna take 4X longer to produce than the budget allows. I'm accustomed to jobs that take 2X longer than the budget...but this is ridiculous.

Waiting on a call back from him to see if the budget can be increased, or his expectations lowered....uggggh.

I can't turn down the job though regardless. At this time of year I have to take any work that come along. :(

On a brighter note...I finished my goal of making 24 hats for the upcoming craft faire. Cross your fingers that I sell at least 10 of them.
