The bane of my existence is 3-point beer. I don't think most people quite understand how much this sucks. I mean, does any other state require that 3-point beer be served in their bars?

3-point beer is like water with a shot of beer added as an afterthought.

They charge as much for a 3-point beer in Oklahoma as they do for 6-point beer in other states, but it takes twice as much to get drunk.

It takes me 7 beers here to even get a good buzz. At $3.00 apiece.

Highway robbery. Screw the Bible Belt.

Liquor stores close at 9pm, and they can't sell chilled beer. So if you want to get good 6-point beer, you have to think ahead or drink it hot. And no liquor sales on Sunday!

You can't buy a car on a Sunday in Oklahoma, either.

I hate this state.

Almost all of the liquor stores here in Oregon close by 7. There's a few that are allowed to stay open until 10. And until recently, all were closed on Sundays. I think they started allowing a few special ones to be open on Sundays. We can buy cold beer/wine in regular stores, but not liquor. And all alcohol has to be locked up by 2:30am here.

My front door opens, you go down a few steps, and you are on the sidewalk. It is small, but very cool I think. Makes me think of New York. So, you can walk to the Gaslamp district from here..and all these kids walk by on their way, or way back from a story you would never mom.....and I have big windows that look out onto the street, but with horizontal blinds...the one in the middle is massive, so if you have them twisted just slightly up, you can see them...but they wont see you...unless they are really looking in the windows....:D

I went and signed up with a temp agency today....I tried to get a job there...it was right across the street! :D
