If it's any comfort, I had someone give me some attitude today that the manual I prepared was incomplete because I didn't have instructions on how to print a form. Never mind that you just do the same thing to print as in any windows application that this person and everyone else in this company has been doing ever since they started using a farking computer (yeah they are young 'uns).... *sigh*

Pointing out to Mags that an Ortho Doc once told me I would have been better off breaking my finger than severing the tendon. Broken fingers take about a month to heal. My tendon injury took four. It could have been worse for you!
