Ok dude im gonna tell you and be honest with you. I guess it isn't clear because everyone else has been tip-toeing around it. The girl came up to me one night flirting with me and I got the vibe from her so I asked how you were. She told me that you weren't together any more and that you wanted to get married and she didn't want to marry you and that she couldn't do the long distance thing so you broke up. She asked to get together so .we exchanged numbers. I met her one night at the bar. We talked and made out and I didn't have sex with her. I asked Marcus before I even went out with her though if you were together. (this was before I went on leave) he told me that he thought that you were still together but he wasn't sure. Ok so all I had is her telling me that you weren't together and yall weren't even speaking. So anyway one night I met up with her at the bar and then I was supposed to meet her at boobies well she got pissed and I ended up hookin up with this other girl, and that was it for a while. I saw her when I was with this other girl on occasion at the bar and thing were cool but we didn't speak much. Then I stopped seeing the other girl and they knew each other and she knew that I wasn't seeing her anymore so she invited me over to her house out past Manigo that she wanted to watch a movie. I didn't go, it was too late. Then she invited me to meet her in Splinbergo one night I didn't really know were that was so I didn't go. Then I happened to see her one night at the cal bar (last Thursday) and we hung out and her friend left and I took her home she was all over me while I was driving like all rubbing on me and in my ear and shit.. yeah and I stayed the night. We had sex. If she is leading you are still together she doesn't act like she has any feeling for you. After a couple of times that night she roled over and even told me that she "really liked me". Before I even got her number and spoke to her I had seen her out. Marcus told me that you were telling him that you were still together. So I asked her again about it. She keeps telling me that yall are not together. Oh yeah she told me that you called her "out of the blue one day" and asked her her if she went out with someone or whatever and you said that you knew it was me. She came to me asked if I had been talking about getting with her to some people at work and told me that someone from work told mason that knew him that we had hooked up. I told her that I didn't talk to anyone about her. At the time all I could think was that she thought I was bragging about ****in and stuff. I told her that I hadn't talked to anyone about her. Then later I figured out that if must have been Marcus so I went to him and asked him if he talked to you about it. He told me that he tried to break it to you easy and that he was just looking out for you and that you were telling him that you were still together. I even showed him the messages in my phone of when I messaged her last night about it. (I got back to work yesterday and he told me what you were saying so I texted her about it) she specifically told me flat out that " no I am not with Mason!!" and the you said you were still together and her reply "that is not true.." other things I showed him like " I didn't want to hurt him that is why I you should pay attention to what you I say because it is getting back to you . she emphasized to me that"" I am free!!!! "". I showed all this shit to Marcus. Because I know you would not believe me and I thought you would believe him. Im telling you she don't love you. Maybe as a friend but if she did there is no way she would have ****ed me like she did. Like I said I messaged her last night about it cause I was pissed cause I didn't know if she was lying to you and me or what. It was in no way just a kiss because one night she was drunk and I was "pushing up on her". **** you for thinking that. I wouldn't hit on anyones girl especially someone I know. Im going to talk to her again tonight and tell her that I talked to you. She said last night that she would talk to you about this shit and clear it up. If you want to get mad at me cause she ****ed me that's your problem. Ok incase you don't believe me ask me something about her. That I would only know if I ****ed her. Like the saddle that is in her bedroom or something. I could tell you every last detail about it. Oh yeah by the way it was Thursday night not Friday night. But if you have any damn sense youll understand now and leave her alone. Im trying to be as honest and blunt with you as I can. I get plenty of girls without trying to get with her so its not like that. Im not trying to piss you off or fight with you but if when you come here you got beef with me.... You know ill be here. I already gave you your chances to slide for trying to start shit with me when I didn't do anything but try to help you. I wont hesitate the next time so tell me now.... Ill answer any question you have and tell you anything you want to know cause I got left by my girlfriend that I loved when I went to the desert the first time. I know how much it sucks and how it ****s with you especially over there cause it seems like you dwell on it more over there. My advise to you is move on and try to get passed her the best you can, don't talk to her anymore and just drop her. I know I left a lot out but you get the gist of it and its not like im trying to write you a book or anything. Let me know your decision.

Talked to Sally today and the Girl Scouts are in the process of collecting all your stuff. I'm gonna do a bit more shopping around for some of the other and we'll get it all in a big box to send out.
It might take a week or more as she's trying to get someone to donate the postage. I'm paying for the GS cookies and the GS's are doing everything else.

I didn't send anything... but big things have been happening... lots of pictures and stories... just to give you guys a little insight.... we recieved 13 2004 pathfinders to drive and then they took them away... my little girl has returned to the north gate but she won't come inside the wire so I have to go out to give her candy and things... Paige isn't ignoring me again.... and we cuddled today for a while... My little brother has come home to my mom... I haven't talked to him in four years... I got another letter, this time from my mom... I got my first care package, from my shop in the states... two of my crew were fired two days ago, by me... another one quit today.... he can't take the stress.... other than that it is the same as life anywhere else where they want to kill you.....

OK let me try to explain.... It isn't a control thing, it is a let's help these guys because they don't have enough people thing... The Air Force is taking over this base as an FOL so we have to help. Yes and No to the MP thing... I am ordinance, I volunteered to do "Escort" patrols... then I was unofficially attached to the 82nd Airborne, then they left and the 81st took over and the 81st are peacekeepers... Imagine the looks on the Army's faces when the Air Force guys are more hardcore and much better at crowd control... :) (Airborne taught us a few things) So without incriminating myself, we are (North Gate) universal and we have guns.... but we won't stay as long.

As some of you may know, one of my sons serves in the
military. He is still stateside, here in California.

He called me yesterday to let me know how warm and
welcoming people were to him and his troops,
everywhere he goes, telling me how people shake their

But he also told me about an incident in the grocery
store he stopped at yesterday, on his way home from
the base. He said that ahead of several people in
front of him stood a woman dressed in a burkha. He
said when she got to the cashier she loudly remarked
about the US flag lapel pin the cashier wore on her
smock.

The cashier reached up and touched the pin, and said
proudly, "yes, I always wear it."
The woman in the burkha then asked the cashier when
she was going to stop bombing her countrymen, explaining
that she was Iraqi.

A gentleman standing behind my son stepped forward,
putting his arm around my son's shoulders, and nodding
towards my son, said in a calm and gentle voice to the

Odd thing about ciggys in the Middle East....they are tax free so cost about 50 cents a pack in the shops(Marlboros etc..)...cheaper than "Duty Free" in their country of origin, so go figure...

Yeah smokes are about 50 cents a pack here but there is no regulation on them so they are stale and nasty and it is pretty hard to find Marlboro 100's... yes, I know, nasty habit anyway... I do however have an oral fixation so... what can you do? BTW, if anyone wants cigs are sodas written in the Iraqi language let me know so that i can start getting little packages together.

I can't be real specific partially for security reasons and partially because we don't stay in one place all the time... but I have mentioned before where I am and I even put a link to an article that identified us... please don't repost it though. As far as selling smokes cheap to the military, when I first came in a carton was 8 dollars and then around the Clinton admin they went up to 26 and just rose from there... that and the military is on this whole "stop smoking" campaign... My mom sent me enough to last for a couple of weeks, thank you though. North Gate... how do I explain without crossing any lines... OK, there is a main entrance to the base, where the convoys and local nationals have to come through... like a search area, but much larger... a choke point in the Sunni triangle... My guys provide military escort to these areas... It is hot and desolate and probably the most deadly place you could possibly be... being that it is where everyone is trying to get to... friend or foe.... kind of like and explosive lined end zone... does that explain it a little?
