This first one is all wool inside, and naturally a bit itchy...fortunatly I have a full head of hair...its not to bad for me. I'm here!! Not for long, just being a bit of a tourist i'm afraid, free time is very scarce atm. School is going well, I've started exams already, one last week & 4 more this week... I've made lots of lovely new friends. Mike's been working for a couple of months now & that seems to be going well enough, we're both very tired though. Léo's getting on more or less ok at the childminders, but this isthe hardest part of it all, I really don't like not being with him for 4 days a week. I've enrolled him in playschool as of jan though because I'd rather he was with lots of other kids (he's on his own at the childminders). Not much else to say really, spend most of my life studying & looking after Léo. I'm commuting to get to Uni, which as it turns out means I spend rougly 4 & a half hours travelling a day, but most of that is study time (train journey).

I have a friend here at the law school who is pregnant, just beginning to really show, and she's not married which is so taboo here in the midwest. So she wears all these fantastic shirts that say things like, "I'm A Virgin"

I waltzed down the aisle five months pregnant with our daughter. My mother-in-law wanted us to get married in February since I was due in August and she didn't want me to "show". I pulled her aside and hissed that another word about it and we'd get married in July.

I was such a tactful one in my younger days, and it got my relationship with my inlaws off to a brilliant start....

I am due at the end of January.

We just had another ultrasound because I am measuring big for my estimated due date. D and I know our dates for sure, but the doc ordered a dates and sizes ultrasound anyway.
The boy is definetly a boy, he measures 36 weeks and I am currently 33 weeks. They estimate his weight based on a bunch of measurements that they take. His estimated weight was 6 lbs 4 oz, give or take a pound. If he stays on course with his due date he'll be somewhere around 9-10 lbs.

It was at that moment I decided the hell with trying to do it naturally. The first time they ask me for an epidural they can hook me up.

Labor is why women need jewelry.

I think I was 6 lbs 4 oz when I was born. I was quite the butterball. A friend of mine back in the day was about 9lbs. I love it when babies are really chubby when they're born.. they look so cute with those cheeks and hands. eeeeek! I wish I had a little baby to play with. they are just sooo adorable!
