OOOO! I want red sparkely toenails! Did they make your feet all nice and smooth too?
Sim, technically the last thing you bought was a soda last night. . . but I bought it. . .just with your money.
melissa
12-05-2004, 09:41 PM
Zaftig, I used to always have money for regular pedicures, but the last one I got was 3 months ago and Boy, did I need one today! You should have seen the pile of dead skin she exfoliated off of my heels! Or maybe you really don't need to see it, just know that it was a lot of skin that she removed.
It was the first time going to a place close to my house, and she did such a good job and really took her time and the place was clean and it is cheaper than the other place I had been going! yay!!

12-05-2004, 09:45 PM
I'm so embarassed but I've never had a pedicure before. Manicures sure. . . I used to get them all the time back home but now there almost a $100 a pop up here.
Does it hurt when they are taking off the dead skin?? I really need to go and go one because no matter how hard I try and work I can never get my feet really smooth. Now we have silk sheets so when you climb in them they feel so good. . .but then when your feet hit. . .*shivers*
melissa
12-05-2004, 09:58 PM
It does not hurt getting a pedicure. Your feet have soaked in hot water for a bit and they have products that help remove the callouses and tools and techniques to remove all that skin and it honestly feels so good!

There was a thread on the Straightdope message board recently "what puts you off buying from ebay sellers". A lot of them answered "threats and terms in big caps". Hahaha. I didn't like the look of any of those whiners (sh*t people, I'm not that desperate for a $ that I need to bend over backward for you) so obviously, my system is working.

You shouldn't buy used life preservers. It's the same as baby car seats. If they have been used once in an accident (or in the case of a preserver, a life-preserving event) they're no good.
